She wants to feel important
She wants someone to see her talents
And smile and laugh

To share a common bond
A similar interest
Cause right now
She mostly feels alone

And the silence
Doesn't fill her
Her soul rots away

If she can't get away
From her inner demons
She fears she'll soon fade

Her inner child wants
to feel joy again
To sparkle and such

To light up her eyes
Is all she'll ever want

They say that not all who wander are lost.
But wandering does come with a cost,
Because eventually, you become misplaced,
And then you get lost by your own mistake.

My mind was lost a long time ago,
I'm confused and worried nothing to show,
People pass by smiles on their faces.
They say your happiness is you so embrace it.

In society, it is defined as depression,
Scared and dreary, sadness is an obsession,
It makes you upset and confused for days,
It makes you contemplate what other people say.

I try not to live up to society's confirmatory.
I always try to make the most of my abnormality.
But what you don't know is I'm not what you see,
I only display the best version of me.
I thought the rhyming scheme was pretty good. I wrote this a long time ago, trying to come to terms with how I felt inside and I realized that how I felt inside wasn't what society wanted. Because big girls weren't supposed to cry.

Upon a fairytale through this parted world
Forces of wrecks are near
Pulling their way between what hearts find matter

Distance forms realms of broken hearts
Mind and time are like forgotten lands
Reflecting the inner enchantment

Finding you is near
I shall not fret
But worry within me as time consumes
Impossible are we
.. distance has us parted
and the pieces to our phenomenal puzzle have come up misplaced
We're all or nothing
In this dreamers fairytale

We break bread with bricks.
Catch our thumbs every time.
Blame those neighborhood ******!
Isn't misplaced hate sublime?

Everything misplaced
Mountain, hills, plateau, plain …..

Everything misplaced
Ocean, river, stream, lake…….

Everything misplaced
Happiness, serenity, tranquility ….

Everything misplaced
Humanity, empathy, brotherhood ….

Everything covered up
With masculinity of machines and pride!

My heart cannot settle.
I don't belong here.
I'm "too young to leave,"
But I'm too old to stay.
I don't belong here.

Eternal seas of tears cried by mothers singing lullabies,
The sun sets in the sky, never revealing  the secrets it hides.
A river flows down a mountain,
Into the everlasting fountain of lies,
No one will ever be righteous in the eyes of the misplaced child,
Who's mother sang her  a lullaby.
This poem is about a close friend of mine who's Father died when she was very very young, when she was growing up her mother would sing a song to her  that her father loved, she grew up never to trust anyone because of what happened to her father, and once told me that not even her mother was righteous of her trust.
I do long for the life
that I have never had

But something,
About the loss of love

And something,
About the loss of security
Makes me happy
as there is someone

Who I'd like to believe
Is there
