I'm thinking about you.
Laying in bed, watching the ceiling.
Waiting for a great life change to come knock on my door
Hoping maybe you will be that knock.

I'm thinking about how you make me feel.
Trying to analyze the emotion and put a label on it.
It seems impossible to understand.
It swirls around my heart and sends messages to my brain like a fast paced satellite
But the messages are not clear so I'm left to decipher them as best as possible.

I'm thinking about your hands.
How there couldn't possibly be another hand in this universe that could be so perfect.
Not one single flaw.
They have their own language and they explore my body every time like it's the first time.
You clear my mind and kidnap my soul.

You take me out of this world.
Take me to Jupiter.

closing in

floating in the

floating in the martian sky

little martians

little martians waving hi

They flag me into a hole in the ground

open the gate to the base of the town

In the land of forever night
Where all the clocks stopped at midnight
Were the ghosts of hundreds of thousands graves
Whose bodies were enslaved
By a spirit who possessed them all
In the time of the fall.
The spirit gained their souls by contract
There bodies dead but in tact
Raised by a nightmarish magic
To walk the earth once more.
In the December air
the living built a wall of fire round the last city.
They built an escape rocket to send their people to safety
But still the ghosts of Mars
Look with empty eye sockets at the stars.

And after long six years,
I'm still not sure if there's life on mars.
Maybe a life for someone else,
But not for me.
Highschool is almost over and I'm not even sure what's happened in the last years.

Your lips were open - pursed to say something
whatever it was got lost in the excitement
whatever it was there was no remission
there had to be something that gave permission

There were good spots but you never knew which was best
you could see mountains and valleys along with the rest
pictures of sea urchins and anemones on the wall
spiders from Mars covering the ends of it all

They danced and frolicked standing on guard
to get past them you needed something hard
but it was easier to pass thro' the eye
of a needle than to enter the kingdom of heaven

God gave us pleasure to pursue at our leisure
it was always rewarding to find buried treasure

When the sun cracked
the planets exploded
each merely shrapnel in a second-
or like the gas giants
puttering into kaleidoscopic spirals
and waving a
symphonic farewell to the universe
grasping the furtive tails
of comets.

mercury shrank into a cindered ball
venus ejected its poisonous atmosphere
like a dying woman her most expensive dresses
mars spun off into the velvety expanse of dark-
but it didn't matter.
only the earth wavered, holding on
to its dignity. Its oceans spilled out,
mottled soup shooting from a bowl,
and its internal fires groaned like arthritic
knees.

In the huge expanse of space
no one noticed,
no one cared.

Let me sink my fangs into you
To stop me from turning blue
Let me get to what's within
What lies beneath your skin

Like a vampire
Your sweetness I need to acquire
Let me drink before I expire
Don't let me pass from this world and retire

With out the sweet taste of you upon my lips
In your hands cradle my hips
As slowly into me you slip
Exploding like a rocket ship

Welcome me like the dying light
I will not leave you felling contrite
I'll make everything just right
I can excite
I can delight
Meet me my dear at midnight
Under the bright moonlight

Take me to the stars
Let us zoom past mars
Grace my veins with your intoxication
You are my only fixation

Like a drug, a need
To your power I concede
I hear your call
I'm your victim after all

It's time I dance among the stars
To let the firflylies out of their jars

It's time I bask in the moon lights glow
To sail that boat through the cosmic flow

It's time to let go of the heartache and sorrow
To hold tight to every tomorrow

It's time to roll with every new stumble
To not let the past make me tumble

It's time to quit holding my breath
To stop following the dance of death

It's time turn in my tickets to that show
To just let all the bad thoughts go

Yes, it's time to dance around the stars
Yes, you'll find me skinny dipping in the oceans on Mars

Gravity is depressing!
I would rather fly
exchange my shoes for a glide
A million places to go
watch me soar
now life's a bit interesting
blissful flips and somersaults
just at times when I'm quite sad
or just because I can
and you can too.

Gravity is depressing;
Gravity is expensive!
Take my car for instance
the one I see in dreams for instance
Or the stress of sending up a satelitte
a job that 10 flying men would enjoy
So it's a yes for space exploration
Would have been easier if
we all went to Mars sometime
visit Saturn for summer
orbiting around it's many rings
of cos there will be a warning around mercury
I hear you might mistake it for the sun

Gravity is boring!

Maybe we are two moons,
but I exist right here
and you're nowhere near
for you exist somewhere else

Although two moons
orbiting a single sphere
are quite feasible,
they exist in another world

You and I are possible
Two moons on the same course
that's guided by the same force
But maybe in a different planet

You and I are possible
Like Mars' Phobos and Deimos
But in this Earth we can't stay
Maybe not now, but someday
