Leaving a mess of a trail
Everywhere I go,
I a wild storm wreaking havoc.
Lakin Sep 2015
Like a blazing fire to a city of 10 million,
there will be no end to the destruction.

Up in flames it will all go and down will ashes,
cascading to the ground like a snowfall of innocence no longer.

My hands are warm and I know it’s that same restless fire burning in me; a fire I know no monsoon could ever contain.

There’s power that surges inside- I am aware of it’s presence
because I feel the indescribable desire to wreak havoc tingling in my veins.

I don’t want to char the world for I know those scars won’t heal, but without something that lasts how will they remember me when

even the brightest flames die out?
They asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up. I replied with "indestructible."

You're in my reality
You're in my dreams
You are all I see
You make me scream

Get out of my head! You undesirable *******
No, please don't break me further
Don't tear me apart
But my words drifted in the wind into a soft murmur

My eyes are cold
Expressing no emotions
My soul was sold
And you bottled me with potions

I scream
I kick
Get out of my dreams
You're making me sick

I awake
Distorted in all mental confusion
My senses became opaque, written in my mistakes
Because you are just an unforsaken illusion; stuck in the gravity of my imagination.

I walk
Nightly
To the place where I find
Silence.
Silencing the world
Silencing the mind
Silencing all that creates
Havoc.
I create havoc.
Day after day
I walk
Wondering when I will
Finally
Be able to find that
Silence.
But day after day I am
Silenced.
That is why
Nightly
I walk
To the place where I find
Silence.
To the River
Where drowns the havoc
Around me.
Where flow the souls of the silent.
To the River
Where I find
Silence.

“Everything about you is chaos,
The kind of chaos that is unsettling,
The kind of chaos that is atrocious,
The kind of chaos I got addicted to,
The kind of chaos that is absolutely beautiful.”

Do you know how many
Poems I write that
Leak your name?

The subtle hints
Of twinkling eyes
And that burning smile

The words explaining
The days that you create havoc
And heat between our bodies

The whispers of
Love and confusion
And an all consuming lust

Do you even realize
The amount of poems
That are in my head
That scream out your name

Because if you did
Oh god
If you did
There would be chaos
I love you and I'm afraid to admit it
A powerful darkness grows in the sky.
A sudden flash of lightning blinds your eyes.
The deep sounds of Thunder ring through your ears.
As the wind begins to howl enlightening your fears.

You watch as the trees dance with the wind
You watch limbs fall as they sway and bend.
The sound of rain falling on the tin overhead
Grows  louder with each breath you breathe in.

Water covers the roads, as creeks overflow.
You worry and pray for the people you know.
Holding your children close around a lone candles glow, four silent prayers are carried up with the winds as the storm continues to grow

Windows break and the rain blows in,
Stinging your face as its blown by the wind.
You ask God to shield your children tonight. You pray that He has a hand over their lives.

Then, just as you seal the prayer with "amen", the chaos outside grows quiet as quickly as it began,
You listen carefully but everything is silent until the faint  sound of sirens in the distance breaks through the thick silence.

Stepping over broken glass, your eyes glance outside.
Through the tears and the dirt, horror floods your eyes,
Your once crowded neighborhood, lies bare with no houses in sight.

Of all the surrounding homes, yours alone survived.
Those four silent prayers were heard through  all the Hell and the fright.
And once again four are prayers sent.
This time spoken, all but silent.
A tale of a storm that reeks havok on a small family and neighborhood. Told through the eyes of a mother.
A storm took your name
And wrecked havoc as I slept
And thought about you
A new haiku from me. Just got hit by a storm today, and it happened to be named after somebody.

Contain the wind and darken the Sun
Dim the stars and let Havoc run.
Let Havoc run the world once glad
And thieve the joy that we once had.

Let Summers scorch the dying soot
And Autumns grow darker than the dirt under foot.
Let Winters cover the dead with fierce cold
And let Spring's regeneration never be told.

Harken pain and mourn the slain.
Let cries fill the skies and drive thee insane.
Never smile lest it be brightly seen
And thou be known as Evil's Unforeseen.
