we were both halves of something
we didn’t know what of
but we knew we weren’t complete
so we took our broken selves
to make a new whole
each hoping to be full again
just a short thing inspired by something someone said to me

I wish you had wanted me
Half as much
As I wanted you.
I wish you had known
That your words, they stung
They were a bee's stinger to
Bare skin- they dug.
Those words dug,
Below the surface
Until bleeding occured.
I wish you had wanted me
Just one half as much
As I wanted you.
I needed you.

That dredwire tonuge soaked in black hard tar spoke only the piece of the puzzle which was converted into lies.
You spoke half the truth but That meant it was most of a lie

a half line
incomplete stanza
an unrhymed sentence
well defined trauma

the poet's thought
uncaptured on the paper
many drafts
and crushed papers
around the study

there is a lot
same thoughts
and some sought
no process
little sense
world of words
and many buds

more time needed
to bloom
and here comes
the start of coming doom.
All Your love
Is like a rainbow
Like a star births first light
With in me

And the sold
Golden pharohs will bow
As the colors and shadows
Run free

And the way
Is shut
By these old hands

Your Diamond Eyes
Cry
Drowning me

And your fires
In my life
Like lost memories
In the ground

So sing for all the yesterdays
And burn my body down

And I Hear
you chasing lost kings
And I smell your long hair
In the Breeze

And your life
Is on fire With the ages
Now you can finally
Be free

And the way
Is shut
By these old hands

Your Diamond eyes
Cry
Drowning me

And I gave
all my time
to the pennyman
And he said

Its hard to live your life now
Without being a little dead

You know,
Its hard to live your life now
Without being a little dead
draft 1.2 this is a song I am writing for my music project called "Regulus". Regulus is the star I stare at every night and write, it feels like home.

As the fragments of a mirror
Once did shatter
Stuck in place
It cannot be, turn back the clock
It couldn't be your face
I see. True story. From a dream. (:

Half day, half full or half empty?
Does half the day with friends cure the blues?
Did you know y’all would date?
Did you know you’d use drugs to numb the pain?
Did you know at one point 2 out of 3 of y’all would cut your thighs so deep your scars would pucker purple?
Did you know you would one day hear voices in your head?
Did you know in a year you'd have to move?
None of us knew life would be this way. How could we?
I miss the way it way before. I miss the half frozen creek and movies.
