Feed my greed
green paper fees
show me what is feels like to stare at the world from above it
that space between in a room full of friendly faces
words of affirmation
play pretend at love
I have a knack for numbing
ask me what it's worth
with my hands stuck in my pockets
and my heart locked up with keys lost
next to the innocence I hate to set free
but the American Dream was calling
like a coward I fell in step
to join the herd of herds of herding
to a place where money grows on trees
as apples rot upon the ground
where the sky is full of blackness
the air we breath is stale
maybe with our heads stuck in the clouds
we will forget to be hungry
hang our hats up
honey I'm home.

Edison was an a$$hole but Tesla a true gentleman of scientific  progress and even though they do not know we are simply looking through the papers of life''s nature;  life flows like

B u t t e r f l i e s --> and someday
rocks will sing ; 'we wish you love
and we wish you peace'
      yea
      oh yea
    oh yea
wish we lived within a better time than now     now-now
no hearse pulls a u-hall behind it now-now
if you give it away give it all away i say
and moths have no feed-time on a closet of emptiness
   as empty heads require no hats -- there-there;
who wears a real hat these days?
Sinking waters hold ships tighter than leather-
skin and she was a grand woman with
a long neck and longer abdomen
-- forgive the orchids for they ate her and spat up
fluorescent pink angel hair.

it has been a theatrical performance
a greek tragedy, one might say.
everynight i celebrate
praying to dionysus
and resting in his temple
drinking the fruit of pleasure.
i’ve been drowning myself with anger,
aphrodite is not on my side
didn’t get her blessing at all
it has been so awful
my life could be as compliated as the iliad
i harvest from hegemone’s plants
the leaf that makes me at ease,
a form of running away slowly.
the story of my tragedy
will be engraved in all of your memories
soon enough i will be in hades’ realm
perhaps grow some flowers,
with persephone blooming them easily.
but in this life,
the life that imitates an art form
in the form of a tragedy, a theatrical one
will be remembered
as a great performance, by me,
and myself only.

We were born in the jungle,
Living in the shadows,
Clinging to our families
In the dark, under the trees.
Life was good then,
We had picked fruit from branches
And swung on them for joy.
And there was no greed
Or jealousy.
Over millions of years,
We lived in harmony,
Until the forest changed;
The garden shriveled and
Faded away as we watched.

Our lives were rearranged.
Some among us ventured out.
Giving to our sin: curiosity.
Down in the street
Canyons of concrete and steel
The powerful gather
Hors d’oeuvres are served,
Placating the hunger of the powerful,
This is never stated;
They will keep taking
As long as we allow it.
One day, some loner, a rebel
May emerge from the shadows,
Dark-clad, filled with inchoate rage*.
He will find like-minded souls
Who use the new inventions
To topple the oligarchs,
Empty their accounts
And give them to the world.
Chaos may follow,
But out of it a new humanity
Might arise.
My hope for a revolution, a redistribution of wealth. *NOTE: I realized after reading this a few times, that the "dark-clad" loner, "filled with inchoate rage", might be seen as a terrorist or religious extremist! NOT SO! I based him on the character Elliot Alderson, the brilliant and disaffected computer acker in "Mr. Robot", who successfully destroys a corrupt corporation, whose toxins killed his father and his best friend's mother. So, there's an element of revenge mixed in with ideological activism. My view is that IT is the only way to take down corrupt institutions. In the U.S., voting has been hijacked by the very rich and by other countries. Elliot also wants a redistribution of wealth, but without causing harm to anyone.

Invent the money
Blood for the down

I need some air
That’s gonna cost you a pretty fare

Water I can’t live without
Costs you to drink from the spout

Do you want my life I say?
No- not really
it’s not worth much
these days
I can’t believe the things we have to pay for
Greed and Lust

Wearing a veil of evil they gather together in darkness to join in unholy matrimony Greed and Lust a union of sin with evil grins the groom and bride exchanged vows.

GREED:  I promise to lay riches at your feet and put power in your hands.

LUST:  I promise to fulfill all of your ****** desires.

By the powers invested in evil the groom and bride kissed.

monsters, monsters everywhere
hold my hand and lead me out of here

eyes, their eyes like you and I,
faces normal, unable to dehumanize

every bit an equal to you or I,
they’re not hiding under some scary disguise

evil is not an exclusive trait,
evil grows inside of all,
blame it on fate

it’s targets are not set in stone,
the only safety is all alone

water it and show it the sun,
blossoms brightly, overgrown

to destroy it now, seems impossible
monsters, monsters
where to run?

the last time you
felt inresitable closeness
where when you went
into this dark basement...

there was a man in a cage
he received you with rage
as you animalically engaged
in the provocation of greed

amber on his skin
yellow-colored fluid
and your pulse beat
the same speed
as you turned into a unit

then you woke up and smelled
his grin
Today is a good day.
