The rain keeps pouring down,
Pounding on the ground.
The rain keeps falling down,
Those ******* clouds make us frown.
The rain keeps tumbling down,
It started with some drizzle.
The rain keeps scything down,
Striking like a chisel.
The rain keeps sleeting down,
Causing local flooding.
The rain keeps belting down,
Plants droop instead of budding.
The rain keeps showering down,
No time for any stanzas,
The rain keeps teeming down,
From Scotland down to Kansas.
The rain keeps arrowing down,
Whenever will it stop?
The rain keeps swirling down,
Yes, I’m hating every drop.

Once again I find myself racing
Racing through the forest
My feet are sore from running over mulch and twigs
My lungs are burning from the cold air rushing in and out
My face is frozen from the constant stream of tears
My arms are scarred from the rogue branches that strike me

Once again I find myself tired
I sit to take a breath
I lean against a rugged trunk
I close my eyes
and just when I do
I hear them calling
I feel them reaching
I taste their lusting for me

Once again I find myself there
At the edge of the forest
Where the grass is green and the flowers grow
Where the sunlight glows and warms the people
where I should be
I feel the grass with my toes
I reach out for a flower...

Once again I find myself racing
Racing through the forest
Maybe next time I'll feel the grass with my whole foot
Maybe next time I'll get the flower

the night sky
reflected my own soul
which was dark

the luminescent stars
reminded me of my small hopes
which were long gone

even a million stars
couldn't even light up the whole sky
without the moon...
Grays pelting
Blues falling
Clouds tumbling
Drops twinkling
Glittering on the grass
Some find beauty
Some find gloom

In the rain
We dance and freeze
We sing and yell
We laugh and fume
We are happy
We are sad
In the beauty and gloom
Of that changing rain
We relate

We’re happy
The drops sparkle and glimmer
They help bring new life
They give water
They clean and purify

We’re sad
The drops soak
They ruin
They take away the sun
They spoil moods and plans

In the rain, we see our emotions
The drops of our reflection

I drive to work in this gloomy day
No rays of light to illuminate the sky
Nothing could fill ones soul with dread quicker that the droplets raining from above
The roads are slick
The grass is damp
The world is dark

There are just some days when hurt and fear cut deep into your spinal cord and you are left totally paralyzed in despair and hopelessness clawing away at the door you locked yourself behind hoping someone can tear it down and rescue you
But nobody ever comes and you suffocate on the fumes of your gloom the bane of your perseverance is the nagging tempting whisper that
                                          **You
                                                 Are
                                                        Not
                                                               Worth
                                                                            It
Just a sidenote; I decided to try writing without and punctuation to see how it looked. Do you guys enjoy it, hate it, or are indifferent to it?

What will happen when is over?
Are you ready to crash hard?
We have soared each day much higher
So much harder we will fall.

The sky’s so much blue in heaven
Grass is greener than before
I can see but endless rainbows
From the outpours of your love

Sky’s bound to fall up on us
Sending us to pits of hell
Love’s not meant to last for longer
And this romance will be quelled.
Love seems to leave more often than come; it seems to be absent more than be present. So fleeting, so fragile, so easily destroyed

Upon a shooting star i ask -
Send me under the graveyard's grass.
Yet though my wish has been granted -
It was my heart that whent while
My brain stay'd planted.
it's kind of crazy how much my family has moved
Before we even gain momentum we lose our groove
We commonly hear gone so soon?
I'm just the dark side of the moon
Waiting for the millitary family gloom to cease
