Meandering Words Oct 2023
the planets will align
every once in awhile
to arraign all who need
or are deserving of it
those who find themselves
treading the wrong path
those who can no longer
see what lies ahead
despite all those
gazing upwards
     silently questioning
these immaterial messages
will be overlooked
unheeded by the majority
only recognised by the few
comprehended by even fewer

this singular occurrence
rare and rarefied
may be explainable
in its most basic sense
logistically
     empirically
to even the layman
it is but a simple matter
of timings and orbits
calculations of gravity
versus mass and inertia
but that which truly matters
the universal push and pull
will leave even
the most discerning of minds
in the dark
George Krokos Oct 2023
Looking back at what's happened is hindsight
looking into the present moment is insight
looking ahead into the future is foresight
but looking in all three ways at once
is all-seeing; OMNISCIENT and
the way that God would see.

Glory and praise to You
Oh Lord. Please bless,
guide and protect
us all now and
forever more
Amen.

Too much emotion
Too much time
For uninterested people
Too much feelings
Too much love
For an ungrateful person
The past will not come back
And you cannot force one's love
Is it about time,
To let go of the past?
How about this time,
We choose a different path?

The future eats me,

which I don't mind, as long as --

I feel the chewing.
Novel "De eeuwige jachtvelden" (1995, "The happy hunting grounds", 1999 Nanne Tepper), Fourth book

Collection "Within the walls"
Money that stores our working hours
Free from the theft of looting powers
Children happy - living carefree
This is the future I want to see

Safe, protected property rights
Long term planning in our sights
A country we don’t have to flee
This is the future I want to see

Honest leaders who give a care
Willing to serve, without fanfare
Living humbly like you and me
This is the future I want to see

Holding value for decades hence
Simply saving with common sense
Speaking boldly - living free
This is the future I want to see

Abundance flowing everywhere
Because the money’s true and rare
Bitcoin’s the answer, Bitcoin’s the key
To build this future we want to see

I enter what I can only describe
as a waking dream
staring into the future
I see him, a hint of recognition
around his eyes
grey hair, no,  more silver
like the light has brought it
alive
far wiser than me
more forgiving
I realise that for all
my chasing
hunting the sunbeam
it has always been there
in the landscape, captured
by my photographic obsession
it never left me
I have always been a part of that light
and my future self
has been struck
ignited
like a lightening bolt
As a small boy I wanted to sleep in the sunbeam that flooded the carpet of our living room, but my mother wouldn't let me.
You can’t print prosperity
Since it only comes from work
And not from rank barbarity
Of looters as they shirk

Yes, you can’t print prosperity
Or houses, food, or land
But looters hate austerity
So they think printing’s grand

If you could print prosperity
(The central planners dream)
T’would lead to popularity
So this becomes their scheme

Some tried to print prosperity
Yet the money finally died
From money’s lack of rarity
Prosperity was denied

So let’s create prosperity
Through money that is rare
Choose with careful clarity
Bitcoin will take us there

Remember that one,
autumn when you
thought you lost
it all?

Your heart was
in the worst,
state it has
ever been

A drug-filled
binge that
took you for
a never-ending

Ride.

You broke down,
and then your
heart broke in
two.

Because you saw
it was
the end of me
and you.

You clutched
the photos
close to your chest

Because you
couldn’t hang on
to what has been.

You felt lost inside,
and you couldn’t
control the downward
spiral

You trapped
yourself in.

Now one year
after and you’ve
let go of false
hopes and illusions.

Scared and
afraid to make
changes and leap

Into the arms of
another soul
again.

Remember that one,
October when you

Thought you lost
it all?

You haven’t hit rock bottom
and I know it feels
like you lost it all.

Keep your head up, kid.

Stand tall.
Conflagration,
Conflict & confusion.
Consternation,
What comes, and has been.
Condemnation,
Of fact, and of fiction.
Comatose.
One world, many nations
