I asked a flute player
if he ever missed the melancholy of his tunes,
the way they twist and travel in the afternoon silence.
When he sleeps at night all lonely under a big sky,
the bag of flutes by his side.
He looks like the Almighty Krishna if Krishna was ever lonely,
for he spends too many restless nights.
He said that the grief of loving is what we carry home,
the grief of knowing that death takes away all.
The melancholy of life that we all feel under our layers,
the loneliness twisting and paining our restless hearts like the tune he plays every afternoon.
The tune reminds me of death and life
and my loved ones still alive.
I hope this grief of knowing
too much does not drive me to insanity.
I wish someone could come and listen to my heart.
I love afternoon stillness and silence. It's a moment of reflection. I love the sound of the flute. I wrote this poem as an ode to life's intrinsic melancholy.

A paintbrush on fire
it isn't yet done.

Paints in broad daylights
in cool cloudy darks
often relaxes down the line
when the rain pours down
and the flute is on play
it isn't yet done.

The sea at the clement eve
strives to splash over
this rainbow-kissed brush
the moon will thaw the billow
with moonlight
before the waking
sleeping beauty's eyes
and the night will pour over it,
it's full bowl eternally pitch black
only to see lighting up
zillions of stars
on the paintbrush
it isn't yet done!

Apparently that looks only kohl
the night eyes in within a colour
eternally weighed down
out of sight mass hues
looking to visualise a scoop
paints yet one more first light.
Full of colours the paintbrush
it isn’t yet done!

Cutie!
Plays the flute
on the moon
far afar.
But beside me
the sea goes viral!

Gift me with song
My darling flute-player
Gentle stirrings
Musical stimuli
Rouse the heavens
To extraordinary flight
Take me to the throes
Of immorality and back
The jetstream of which
Will glisten like gold
Upon your sacrificial lips

Every three blocks city people are moving
Did you bring the cassettes
There's room for one more desk
Every few cases a discarded chair
An evicted shoe rack
A blue and white stack
The cases crescendo with gems multiplying
And under the bridge a wind fairy is crying
