You ripped me away from my roots,
my aroma, with every breeze,
haunts you, your love for me,
your memory can't refute,
you hold me up to the sky,
begging the sun to rip through
the clouds, and you cry,
hoping it'll bring my soft petals to life,
but if I had a voice,
I'd beg to hear heavens deny,
just toss me back down,
turn your back,
don't turn around,
that's what you've always been best at.

Our love was such a beautiful flower

One so unique and brand new it didn't even have a name
As it's petals bloomed and towards the moon it grew
I felt a love that was so deep and true

I thought that it was so beautiful and ethereal
That it must be immortal
That I'd see it in this life into the next and the one after

But it wilted
All the petals browned and fell
The roots rotted and leaves receded

Every flower has its season, this one just came late and let false hope into my heart

No matter how much I watered
How much I changed the soil
How much love I poured into it-

I could not save our dying flower

There was a time
When a boy lived
In a home of keys
He had a key for every situation
One day, a man approached
Asking him, how do I live with my wife
The boy searches for a key
He finds a flower crested one
And says, this shall placate your wife
Let me warn you, however
At the full moon
The key disappears
And so does its magic
The man goes back
Tells his wife
Look at this beautiful ornate thing
The wife says this is perfect
For now we can be the best of lovers
The husband delighted with his purchase
Waits for the full moon
Wondering why a key
With such lasting happiness
Should have temporary power
The full moon approaches
The wife is always toying with the key
This worries the husband
But, he allays his concerns
Thinking, his wife will not mind a bit
For now, let him enjoy her company
And he had been getting plump lately
When the full moon arrives
The wife seems pale
The husband now understands
That it was the key to her heart
Now the magic had died
With it came sorrow
As the key vanished
She locked away her joys
Forever, in her heart
The flower never blossomed again
A short story in the form of a fable. I hope you enjoy my creative side.

we were too fast to be absorbed
by roots of thought
for eye of truth
to photosynthesize,
like the flowerpot forgotten⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀

Flowers consist because of sunshine and rain.
If one of them is missing it will die.

People consist of happiness and joy just like the sun.

But they also exist of sadness and fear just like the rain.

Both combined make life.

I live for dandelions
That bloom between the cracks
Blinding strikes of happiness
Thriving in desecration

Have you ever seen a field of them?
Reclaiming where they may
It nary ceases to amaze
They always seem to say:

“Life continues”
If a flower can retake concrete, then I can make it through too.
Will, whilst,
Flower and stem.
Will you forgive me,
For who I am?

Dark, gray,
Wandering stray.
Will you join me,
On my quest today?

Clouds of dust,
In a busy day.
Hope we'll meet again,
My very own someday.
I wrote this for someone special, after we got complicated and separated. Our feelings for each other got complicated too and so we'll wait what'll happen next.

I’m merely a wallflower
Deprived of sunlight
Breathing the same air
In the same room
longing to belong somewhere
Anywhere but here

What’s the point in pulling me from my roots
When they’re buried too deep
And are far too frail
For only I can aid my bloom

You told me to get some rest
I promised you.
But I can’t sleep whilst I'm afraid to exist
Dreams just give me false hope
But please don't let me sit through this winter alone

And at the end of the night
As you held the weight of my body
You asked me,
Is it repetitive? How you live?
And you watched
as the timid flower shrived in your hands
Feeling lost in life
Pull me from inside
Maybe to touch a journey
Possible at heart
Out of reach in reality
You never belong to anyone
But you deserve to be calm
Cause learning love lessons isn't a
Crime
Let me pin your name on a petal
You're in where your mind sets free For eternal!
