each morning bird watching
is a silent meditation
I have pigeons sparrows seagulls
megpies in my gaze
their delight of falling
makes me smile
I watch them teaching their wings
for each day
picking up the debris of sleep
spinning around each other
they start cheerful conversations
about the taste of the air
steal crumbs of wonder
from each other
a woodpacker comes
from time to time
its red stain is fun
none of them travel to you
they get round and round
wayching out
their own flight

Rise, rise, angel!
Swiftly spread thy wings wide.
Fly, fly, angel!
And your's shall be the night.
Rise!

It's all about the features and benefits
Make a product which will benefit
The users satisfaction oh yes
An aeroplane that delivers
All promised things and more
This one they got right
Even if it's costly beyond compare

For a century it'll reap profits
Make them rich beyond realms
Not to mention the next one
More capable more costly
More profits more sold
Lockheed did this right
No revenue in peace
SELL OUT

beetle like foetal
shrink wrapped pebble
peddling twig ticking limbs
shrouded  wings
so sung    into its sorcery
jewel cracked    meal like  delicately
delicacy         if commuted to mouth
however    it is committed to the air
strike veins and charge the tissue
sprout the wings    freed
cupped caring breast beats on the air
heavy beetle           upright suspends
carried with pendulum dignified flair
a businessman of the sky till arrival
with a mandible crown in place
of a stiff bowler hat
and limbs flung
ready to greet
or do battle

I'm so **** tired
Of hating myself
Of what my brain desires
Being so close of losing m'self
I am so **** tired
Of just wanting to end it all
My days are so numbered
No one left to call
So close to giving up the fight
I am so **** tired
I am ready to take the final flight

As black as my birdlover poet's pen ink
Coal black as every poet's ink, hue upon hue
a rook and a raven flew flew flew
as the wind it breezily blew blew blew
And blustery became the view, view, view

An albatross then gracefully took to the air
and for hours it seemed to linger there
Then we saw magpies rise unto the skies
As well as a kestrel soar with such flying flair

Bright toucans and brown falcons too fly and glide
So many wings fill up God's wide skyline

All such avians rise and shine with 'flying colours'.
Their flight enabled and powered by divine powers

O' birds of flight your secrets tell
and if you know which of us
had end up in heaven or hell?
For isn't all is well that ends well.
Lets pray there ain't hell's murk
but Eden's light
at the end of the tunnel!

We plan, organize, gather and pack,
we fly - what liberty is this - to fly
like a weapon on the edge of heaven.

Having no power to do it ourselves
we trust security, the silver whirligig,
and the immutable laws of lift and ******.

Looking down at clouds, near the speed of sound
“Yes, I’ll have the pretzels, please, and a sprite.”
aviating thru the night, a few silent, blinking lights
wedged up in the stars to those stuck in slow cars.

We land with a bump, and reverse engine ******,
remaining in our seats until signs are revealed
we then become the many-headed impatience
to exit, to rush - for the baggage we trust
made the journey with us.

Oh, quick, grab a cab, catch a bus
the grumpy, disheveled, six of us
we weary travelers thus
were returned from vacation,
to a near dawn New Haven.

Like Japanese iris,
she shines with raindrops in the sun.
A blossoming grace in silence.
A new butterfly in flight.

A pick up at Gatwick
at way past midnight
is a glimpse into the void
tempered only by the joy
and delight of family
reunited
The things you do for family
