Mirror, mirror, on the wall
Please stop staring at the hole.
With magic i could be one once more,
But fairytales aren't standing tall.
Ruby shoes run out of wishes
I'm sculpted, carved. just like pumpkin.
There's just no light inside. It's gone.

What do we really have in this world?

Apart from the handwritten letters,
the dusty polaroids capturing
memorable days long gone,
and out battle scars.

We have nothing much at all.

Because it all gets snatched away too soon.

Misplaced smiles, awkward laughs,
The silence stretches on for miles.
Wandering eyes, shuffling feet,
Something's missing, incomplete.
What happened to the brighter days?
When hours seemed to slip away?
Now the seconds are more like years,
And minutes seem like eons of fears.
I miss you dearly, this I know,
But I wounder if it's you I miss,
Or something I created, romanticized,
Either way, it seems so faded,
What happened to the friendship we so effortlessly created?

I'm memorized by the echo
                         of your passing,
burning so brightly before
            you were extinguished.

We all have a moment to burn,
                      before we extinguish.
But were always brightest before we fade.

Nevertheless we have a singular moment
                        to burn for those
that need us before we fade gently.

Were all stars fading,
but some keep us burning longer
just because of there words.

               Where here because of them,
even though they have faded.
              They still illuminate us brightly.

A goal once to be remembered,
To be told stories of;
To be immortalised.
Now slowly losing purpose and value.
And soon shall he slipped of from memories;
From their life.

I jumped in, right to
Pooling thoughts, I'd discarded,
Help me feel again-

When the haze wears off and you come back to reality, your senses no longer heightened  return to the dull.
And you look at yourself like who am I now that I was not before?
Return to the haze where everything felt OK
kiss the sky
dance with the breeze
write poetry
feel everything that the “normal” you can not see
Live,love and get lost
be wild
Be free
lost in the haze
