Her soul is being dragged down
Towards the dream realm.
You can see it in her dreariness;
You can see it in her grey and clouded eyes.
You can hear it in the "I'm tired" mantra that she repeats through waking hours
You can feel it when she puts all her heart's heavy weight onto yours when she leans into you for a hug.
She's being dragged down
Towards the dream realm...
Perhaps she will be better off there.
tired eyes say more than anything

From that quiet place,
Take time and replay to save face,
Process the dead weight,
Push through the dark age,
Until slithers of light break
Through burnt edges
Of that pictured frame

But you're awake,
The colours of the world
Start to fill in,
You were daydreaming again,
How long for now?
Let's say a minute,

We can all pretend

a scream of soul-
I DARE TO DREAM

encourage
discouraging
COURAGE.

my days gone by you do not know,
you do not know what i have seen!
so when i whisper in your ear
the truth about a moment

"i dare to dream, i dare to dream"-
i scream!
into the starless void.

then out of darkness there arises,
the iris star of past demises-
gone!
gone with the scream,

vibrations scare the dark away
so only real dreamers will stay-
for who are they,

but beacons of vibration,
of hope for realization?

clock in
somewhere between midnight and eery silece
peeling my eyes wide, can not close
(they can't)
have to keep busy
busy, busy, busy
my mind is always busy like it's a job
no time for breaks
no happy thoughts
the one laying next to me is rich in slumber
resting from his day of work
I am wide awake,
my mind working quickly, my eyes watering just on que
it's all part of the routine
I have to never forget you
it's okay, my dear dreamer
sleep well,
I will take the night shift.
My thoughts - jumbled and mixed together.

Some people are in "this"
wishing to change the world.

I'm in it
wishing to change people.

She was a dreamer
Never a realist.

When she is falling,
She believed she is flying.

When she is beaten,
She believed love is deepen.

When she is breaking,
She believed Earth is shaking.

When she is broken,
She believed she is chosen.

When she is crying,
She believed it's purifying.

She was a dreamer,
Never a realist.

That is why,
When you are leaving,
She finally is breathing.
But you are not leaving.

we fill up schedules for senior year
and imagine what we'll be then.
i'd like to imagine myself beside you,
but i can't even look you in the eyes
without my mind
clouding over with daydreams
even my pencil is at a loss for words
and a year from today
i'll still be hovering over empty love letters
but if im in the same class as you...
i might be able to say something more to you than
small talk for acquaintances
i could tell you
about the daydreams i live in
and how you are always weaved into their stories
or how you are a daydream
and im a dreamer who cant reach to the stars
but finds herself stargazing every night anyways
so i'm a junior, and this week we got our enrollment cards for senior year.
that gave me an idea for a poem, but as it is with love poems by me, these words aren't for anybody. not yet i guess

dreamer; you might feel
lost at sea but guidance
has always been within
you; you will find shore
soon enough.

you can look to the stars
all night but they may
never hold the answers,
you can pray to your gods
and to your earth but
they might never write back

because, dreamer, you are
your own force of nature
you are the captain, and
you have never been lost.

the dream ain't over 'till the dreamer's awake.
and your sleep will keep the dream going, on and on,
in a silence made of rear view windows.
