Sunlight gathered raindrop,
Still glowing in its hue.
The morning proceeded past the dawn,
There's not much more I can do.
The sunlight rising higher,
More drops now settled by.
A rainbow appears brighter,
In the morning sky.
I see no reason to be sad,
For the daylight that comes through.
Shines on me even though I'm sad,
But doesn't leave me blue.
I'm still drunk upon this maddening stage,
Where life chews me out and spits me through.
But I must quit this craze,
For the sunlight gathered dew.

For darling, I love you
To you, my heart I confide
For only you, my evening hue
Oh, let your young soul decide,
My sweet morning dew,
Will you be my bride?
Hmm... this is one of the more... old English (?)... poems of mine. In case you were wondering, this poem is dedicated to Bryana; an amazing woman whom I deeply care for (yes, I identify as gay for those who were confused by the fact that my name is Ellie).

My moonlight girl is sleeping.

She finds me in my daydreams,
she creeps in and quickly leaves me.

She tells me she loves me- while I am unconscious.

I haven't heard her but I can read it in the smoke she leaves.

I can feel it in the wet lust that hangs in the air,
the sweet dew evaporating from my thighs.

I miss her when she is waking.
...
I love you
yet this is a true view
but it only realizes a few
cause sometimes love is as morning dew

Do you ever walk outside in the morning,
When the sun has only been up for an hour,
And you walk through the grass,
For whatever reason,
And as soon as the dewey grass touches your foot
You jump back onto the pavement,
Because you weren't ready for the chill,
Or you don't want your shoes getting wet?

Because I do the same thing,
But I wish that I didn't.
I wish that instead of jumping to the pavement,
I kicked my shoes off and lay down,
Soaking in as much dew from the grass as possible,
Enjoying the smell of nature in the morning,
Basking in the presence of the world,
Connecting to the Earth.

But instead, I hop to the pavement
Just like the rest of you.

Your morning dew breath
trickles in early
As we walk with the foxes,
by the rockpools by the shore;
By the lilies by the glade.

with the cool yet warm wind it flew
leaving behind a depth of green
to catch the Summer's morning's dew
