Loving you is like lifting a spoon to my lips
it's bowl full of ice cream
sugar and milk sweetly, softly melt upon my tongue
each mouthful reducing in wonder
the taste eventually forgotten until my porcelain vessel lays empty
in my hands
and I ache for more
but my imagined aches harden into reality
as my body reacts in horror at the offering I have brought its enemies
Just as when your face is no longer present to grace my vision
I long for your return,
yet realize how utterly vain is my infatuation for you
Let it go . . .
I wonder if it would be stupid to anonymously send this dude a poem about him.

i am an ice cream.
the way you look at me is
just so hot, i melt.
Rose petals daisys, are the things that make me happy. Blue sky's sunrise Im just glad to be alive.puppys and ice cream and everything in between.
I just felt like we need some more happy poetry in our life's. :))

You are trying to rush me
Out of the bookstore.
Ice cream is not a substitute
For paper friends, fool.
Leave me, eventually I
Will unwind my way out
Back to reality and your
Overpriced milk products.

October brings me sap and dreams,
for tears are caramel on cheeks of cream.
The only sweetness to taste at night,
is the caramel sacrifice for my lover's delight.
Hardening to my heart-shaped face,
my heart's owner dwells without a trace.
Left wondering with my hardening tears,
is this love a reflection of earlier years?

I thought we would become that old couple
That we walked past on the pier
Sharing an ice-cream, the way she looked at him
As though she was still 18
But things change
Time, emotions, love, feelings, thoughts and actions
They all do too
And I suppose that you was right
When you said that we would never grow old

Hazelnut colored eyes,
dark  liquorish hair,
bright red cherry lips,
cinnamon brown freckles,
sprinkled over your,
smooth caramel complexion,
spilling into your tightly woven
deliciously lovely  frame.

Baby hear what the wind says,
It carries my light voiced words,
Listen to it a bit carefully baby.

Listen to really simple words,
It's more than just lovely words,
Baby trust my loving promise.

When you come to me, lover,
Come swinging your waistline,
You're coming to me, smiling.

You shared all your warmth,
Come now ******* tastebuds,
When I call you in my arms.

Then as you fall in my arms,
I envelope you in my embrace,
We will sleep while hugging.

We cling to each other tight,
I hold your sides and pull you,
Then smile as we are asleep.

You are my ice cream cone,
My ice-cream melts in your arms,
Get lost in *our mutual love.
