In line for the new roller coaster
was a group of ex-protestors
in cobbled monogamous flocks.
They squawked and squawked.
She warbled.
He wooed.
She swayed.
He swooned.
And she only had sunscreened her front.
Her back must've stung.
Bright red.
But I bet she reserves her best stories
for unreserved reservations in bed.

If we're so close
I'd no longer stare at photographs
No longer read between lines
I could just touch your face
Look into your eyes
And finally know my place.
We could either play pool
Or sit at the park
I'd hear your stories
While you are looking afar.
Then slowly, I'd take each chance
To watch you from your side
And wish for myself
That I could call you mine.
But the first thing I should wish
Is that we'd be so close
I'd no longer have to stare at photographs.

I'm the same as I've ever been. I'm a sun burnt sky.
A delirious sullen home sick guy
Sent to read red writing on rocks.
Rocks left by leavened men and heaven sent women
leavened mashed locks of hair and ever green stalks.

Sticking into places.
Shaved half frowned faces.

by sight of you makes me whirl
how i love your imperfect curls
beauty as rare as the black pearl
this i ask "would you be my girl?"

Everytime I think of relationships my soul dents
We are stuck in societies where boys' glistening hormonal hunger are mistaken for love

Where is the passion?
These days men have gone through underground classes about how to lure women into believing that it is all about love meanwhile their plan is to only get in between women's legs so that their ego is enhanced
He tells you how beautiful you are and gives you a full description of how you make his heart beat fast and his palms sweat
He tells you that only you complete him fully
And asks to meet up with him not even on a proper date like in the days of our parents
You go to his place and the setting screams : Pleasure!
He whispers all sweet nothings into your ears that excites your body and you believe that he truly loves you
Before you know he has gotten what he wanted and wants to get rid of you as soon as possible
The next few days he ignores you and texts you the next time he "misses" you
He types a long paragraph narrating how busy he has been and you fall for it again because of the effort he took to type a long *** raudy paragraph

Where is the passion?
Men no longer send you notes that circulated around the class when you were in 7th grade that read : " You look beautiful as the sky" " Yellow makes your eyes pop" " Mom taught me how to make lemonade I thought you'd love some" "I love you, yes or no"
They no longer secretly protect you from the bullies that always made fun of you in high school down the hall
They no longer want to know what your favorite book is and why
They do not pick flowers from Mrs A's garden to present to you
They don't make jokes about relevant matters
All they know is ****** jokes that downgrade your value as a woman
Men don't want to hear all about your day and the conversations you've had with your girls or the argument you had with your mother
They are all about your paradise
When they look at you they uncover and undress you in their minds
They measure the size of your ***** and behind

Where is the passion?
That boy from next door who always came over to study with you because he knows you need help with maths
That boy that your parents always saw as your elder brother who protects you from evil creatures
That boy that your dad would allow to take you to the movies because he is well behaved and has only blown a kiss to you
That young man who respects you and your values and is concerned with how you will achieve all your dreams

Where are all these boys who are now handsome men
Show yourself for we are exhausted of all these boys that are dressed in men's cloaks...

Young lady I urge you to rise up
Open your eyes and stand your ground
You are worth more than cliché pickup lines from the internet
You are a well crafted diamond
Have high standards that not just any man can approach you
Do not be loose
Your are the carrier of life
Make it clear that you do not entertain hormonal boys
You desire a man that will build an empire with you and raise your family with you in due time when you have achieved most of your dreams and his too
You are that backbone of this earth
Know your worth and do away with mediocre.
passion over lust.

My face, like a wax figure
The party, a parade of curiosity
Laughing at what they will never remember
Unless someone plays the fool
I hide behind my bravado
An invention, a fabricated symmetry
But a hint of oddity remains
A strange sort of allure, fierce
Stronger than life itself
For life itself is no longer enough
Not like it once was
Every feast devoured
Weakness or strength, digested
But my eyes are not vacant
I understand my effect on you
My face, unaware of itself
Alone, without a mirror that reminds
The longer I forget
It’s flaws of no concern
Because that couldn’t be it
You smiled long enough to see
The lines that run together
And the blood rushing to fill them
I was naked once again
I knew it would happen
Civility, the weakness of morals
You wanted me to guess correctly
Were you afraid of God or of yourself
I made it easy for you by walking away
Neither thinking poorly of me for an indiscretion
Or drenched by the deluge of sin
I could not help myself
But if you could just tell me the answer
I will know why I waited for so long

O' Woman who mirrors the night,
Once your lips touch mine, It's a delight
Cold, prickly winds embrace me tightly

O' beloved lady that was once prayed for,
My intentions are genuine to win your core
All of my dignity and I entrust all my vulnerability

O' beauty that reflects on the fullness of the moon
I'm here with such promising words to swoon,
Those words I could have uttered to you before.

I do not possess all the power, but only fate will keep us together,
But woman, all my life, and heart's dedicated to your image
You're the only one in my heart
it's the english version of "Pagamo't panliligaw"

She loves like she hasn't loved before
And it leaves you hanging wanting more
The serenity is intensely seen, in your eyes
As the moon revolves around the world
At the speed of light, while we take a
Trip through the starry skies
And our seas of love will rise
While something in our stomach ignites
A fire burning so bright so bright
You can feel it in the air,
Something that was never there
It's tumbling, crumbling away
The walls that you built to stay
Just fell now you float away

So take my hand (You can trust me)
So take my hand (You gotta believe in me)
Babe, you gotta know I would never hurt you
(I'll be there to catch you when you fall)
And you've never felt like this before
So take my hand (You can trust me)
So take my hand (You gotta believe in me)
You've made me a better man
So come on, And be my girlfriend
Baby just take me by the hand

You're the brightest of all the colours
The chemistry we are sending one another
Oh, baby, I'll be your shelter and protection
The hard times are gone, I'll wipe away those tears
You are cute as can be
And you've never taken the time to see
What is inside of you and me
Thousands of fireflies will light our skies
While I hold you in my warm embrace
And the butterflies will never cease to fade
Oh baby take a little time, We can make this right
Whatever it takes
Babe, tell me if you need a little space
Because there's no room for mistakes
When your so perfect, And that's not a hint
I just want life to be bliss
Together forever, Life won't be better
Without you, Without you

So take my hand (You can trust me)
So take my hand (You gotta believe in me)
Babe, you gotta know I would never hurt you
(I'll be there to catch you when you fall)
And you've never felt like this before
So take my hand (You can trust me)
So take my hand (You gotta believe in me)
You've made me a better man
So come on, And be my girlfriend
Baby just take me by the hand

And I say that you're amazing
In how you've created a sea of love
In which we can drown
Oh tell me where does the part end
and how, we're getting deeper than
I've ever been, and I think that you're showing
Me places I've never seen
And it's crazy, How much I couldn't see
That you were in love with me
Where, When did I go blind
I threw my heart out on the line for all this time
You were there, and I just didn't understand
How you pictured me as your boyfriend.
So let the sunshine through
It will guide me back to you
Every single time your my raise of light
So let the sunshine
With my rainbow in the sky
You're my rainbow in the sky

So take my hand (You can trust me)
So take my hand (You gotta believe in me)
Babe you gotta know I would never hurt you
(I'll be there to catch you when you fall)
And you've never felt like this before
So take my hand (You can trust me)
So take my hand (You gotta believe in me)
You've made me a better man
So come on, And be my princess
Baby just take me by the hand
You can trust in me.
So so take my hand
You gotta believe in me
Believe in me.

Once again to pen my thoughts down
I had no option but to come hither
What follows from now on,
Is all about A Walk To Remember.

So, now to let the story unfold
A story different from the ones you have been told
That Saturday night, I made a decision somewhat bold
Which was to surprise her, an idea very exciting but old.

11th of April it was, I was told
And down those dimly lit streets, I speedily strolled
Unaware of the memories I would earn, in that night so cold
Memories, one can say, way more precious than jewels of gold.

Now, let’s change the scheme of the rhyme
I want you to be patient, wait for the next line
Yes, I had reached the right place, at the right time
But witnessing her absence, I fell off cloud nine
Cursing the bad luck, as it would always be mine.

I sat rooted to the bench like some weak-stemmed vine
Glaring at the gates, and on the empty bench sitting confined
Waiting for her, as the clock had already struck nine
I saw her walk in, to notice the charisma redefined
But not to forget, she was late this time.

Lost in thoughts, she walked straight past me
Grooving to the music, she circled the park
I felt the urge to stand up, I couldn’t let it be
I walked up to her, surprised as she was
Her breathtaking smile tore me apart
When she looked up to me, I felt a spark
While crackers kept bursting in my heart
I failed to understand why all around me, it was still dark.

Spellbound I was, as she was alongside,
She told me all about the day, but she had something to hide,
I couldn’t hold myself back from looking her in the eyes,
When I should have been busy stopping those tears of joy from rolling by.

In those attempts to embrace her fears and make her smile,
I could swim for years, up the longest Nile.
We were tired and decided to sit for a while.
In those moments of silence, my heart sighed,
As the wind hit my face, which was on a high.
My heart managed to sink in the ocean of happiness
When I realized time flows, swiftly by,
And it was time, time to say goodbye.

The idea of a goodbye had me tombed
When my heart cried, “Think of an excuse you *****!”
I asked if I could drop her home
And we walked towards the place, she would call her own.
I stood there to catch every possible glimpse of her
And long before the reality I had known,
She was gone. Man! She was gone!

My words sought an escape in an attempt forlorn,
"Thank you for all that you have done
You've always been a giver and never expected anything in return
I want you to have all that you want
All that you have dreamt of, ever,
I promise that I'll be with you, always and forever.
Thank you because now I own the beautiful memories,
Of this night which truly gave me, A Walk To Remember."

Once, a thought went past my mind
Which was to leave the past behind.
I thought if it would be of any gain
But all of it was in vain.

Somehow I got over it
Just to find myself in an empty pit
To witness the darkness all around
Until in her, a light I found.

A glimpse of her
Would make my heart pound
As if I was a free bird flying high in the air
Invisible to someone here on the ground.

Seeing her secretly all day
Gave me happiness profound.
They said I was deeply in love,
Love, way out of bounds.

Her eyes had a pious look
A look so serene
Splendid as they were
No less than the Irish meadows green.

I dived deep into those beautiful eyes
Wondering if the secret they did hide had even been seen.
They were like an unread book
Seeking to be looked within.
To find a picture of mine in her eyes that gleam
Was the blissful moment of which I would dream.

At times, I saw her make a sad face
When she felt all troubled
And in my mind prayers for her happiness
Was all that I mumbled.

Her beautiful smile had a touch divine
So lovable that even words can’t define.
I wish I could tell her what I felt for her
Afraid if she would be friends ever after.

I wished to run away
Wanted those feelings to disappear
But by then, I already knew the way
A part of my soul would be with her
Always here.

I wonder if I could tell her some day
That I thought of her night and day.
I was so attached to her
Like the cold icy winter and shades of grey.

So this happens to be my life-story,
Nevertheless, there is nothing to worry.
I just hope she will someday be mine
Only then I would believe
That up there beyond the clouds there is some power divine.
