I can make you love me
this is something I can swear
all I need is a moment here
to run my fingers through your hair
I can laugh
at all your cheesy
jokes
the ones a little ******,
the ones a little
old
I can lean against your shoulder,
take turns as we blow
smoke
up, up above our heads
and past the giant
oaks
I can be charming
and kiss you before I
leave—
kiss you until your weak
and shaken in the
knees
I may not be beautiful
but I've got a trick
up my
sleeve;
a trick that involves assuming
love is quite naive

*and in that case,
so are you.

I'd befriend the obsidian sky...
I'd shower it with a bounty of praises.
So that it'll welcome my nightly gaze,
     without threats from overbearing clouds.

     I'd impress the twinkling stars
by serenading them with songs unheard by most.
So that when the time comes,
they'd cast their votes in my favour.

I'd whisper to the nighttime breeze.
I'd cavort and giggle at its slightest touch.
So that when I fly my flag,
it'll catch it in full billows for her to see.

Then finally...
  I'd woo the twilight moon...
     For she is the prize
my heart had sought to pursue.
    I'd court her
with the fiercest blaze that burns within...
     In hopes that she'd forever
remember me as the suitor that had
fallen helplessly.
Keep time and good company,
Stay laissez-faire,
Of your diet, be mindful:
Of your body; take care.

With intention and tact,
Choose well what you wear,
Downtown or in the garden,
Be seen without glare.

When you're mannered and prim;
You're fit to a pair,
Politely, be you,
Though be a you they can bear.
I wish I had been told this when I was younger.

How rain's nigh ghastly light haunts vague suspense
Ere darkness yield to after.  In the pale
Note follwing, whiter morsels chase th'exhale
Which moves atwixt these firs as if pretense
Could not decide oer snowbanks' worn intents
And newer puddles thinking of betrayl,
This fragile romance in surreal tones' bail
Lost in the flurry of just whither hence.
I want to ask you what you're doing fer
All we have overnight made me and you
Erm, us and we.  And scared but driving, you're
Not one bit daunted either.  What'd we do?
I've heard of whirlwind stories.  Aren't such poor?
You'd kiss my tear-washed face, and say we knew?

You bring your coquette and charming.
I bring homebread and cheese.
You bring fresh fruit, and spread
I bring romance and eloquent

I bring wine,
And you bring tea.
I've admiration of the old-fashioned kind,
And you've your poised elegance. Sweet
And subtle seductiveness
Do we now practice.
Light and deep conversation,
Peals of laughters
And whispers in the silence.

I don't mind the seeming plainness
of our meeting.
As long as I can enjoy
knowing you're enjoying
Our special spontaneous
Lunch date
Let me know what you all think of this one

I plant my soft lips
Upon yours sugary sweet.
The scent upon your skin
Mesmerizes me. Belle Chérie.

La vie en rose
Explains the way I feel
When you lean into me
Cuddled tight, cuddled right
It's just the place to be.

Ah yes, the way I feel
When you look into
These hazel eyes and I into
Your dark brown iris
Hypnotizing, beautiful, precious
The way I feel... It is exuberance

I'd like those moments to keep happening.

Moments when I pick you up,
Or hold your soft hands
And attempt teaching you to dance
To shake your hips

Moments when I learn about you
Moments of simple conversation
Moments of wonderful kisses
Laughter, embraces, and bliss.
Yes.
I'd like to continue this,
euphoric courtship

May linyang pahalang at patayo,

For it all began with grain and clay
In ancient lands so far away
And in turquoise mines for the laborers day
Where to whom a lovely goddess the men would pray
That now I can write this for you

Thanks to those earthen veins of minerals blue
And the flowing rivers and oceans too
Over which sailed ships rowed by the crew
To carry such jewels to you

Where the mouth and the sound of its word was your name
For when I was kissed by those lips I was never the same
My tongue licks like fingertips of shadows of flames
And if once I was a desert, you’ve given me rain

I grew like a tree whose leaves spread like a fan
Whose lines and grooves resembles that of a hand
And I draw long and curling lines on your skin
Paying no mind to an end once we begin

And it all began with grain and clay
In ancient lands so far away
And in turquoise mines for the laborers day
Where to whom a lovely goddess the men would pray
That now I can write this for you
