Demons and angels,
Fight for what is right
You may say that one is wrong
But the lights do shine so bright

If a demon is of darkness,
And an angel to it's opposite
Then who is really incorrect
When it gets down to it?

Both sides fight for what they believe in
Stereotypes don't dictate correctness
I could be a demon
And you may agree with my arguments

It's all just opinion,
And a strong sense of belief
To the point it overwhelms you
And become afraid of deceit

*Just two sides of the same coin....

you were born in Denver
during a white out blizzard

like all round babes,
you had no clue, what was in store for you
you couldn't have known...

you would be
the last nickel to ***** through
a five-cent coin phone box,
in El Paso, Texas

or that you would sleep
for a year in a piggy bank,
of a boy named Felipe, who would die
of white blood cancer, before
he could spend you

and who would have thought
you would be in the linty pocket
of a serial murderer named Ray, when
he was captured in Santa Fe, a sunny day
on the ancient square, stalking
his next victim

a jailer used you that very night
with a twin of yours he found in
another picked pocket, of a drunk drifter,
to buy a Hershey's bar, from a machine
that would have taken a dime as well

your face began to show the fingered
signs of age by the time the choppers found sky
above the Saigon Embassy, where you had spent
an aching April night in the Ambassador's pants

when you turned a half century, you were tossed
into a gallon jug, e pluribus unum, no more special
than others a third your vintage

I finally met you today, only because chance landed you on
the top of the heap, waiting to be saved from further folly
I'm a coin.

Pick me up
make your call.
Toss me up
play your luck.

One side is love;
one side is lust.
Someone to f**k;
someone to trust.

Charming devil,
good intentions;
Putrid angel,
no redemption.

Cup of tea,
priceless stardust;
Shot of whiskey,
toxic diamond.

I wanta go for a ride
Come on climb inside
I want to stop this slide
Let our tears subside
In each other we'll confide
Then we'll put our problems aside
We'll hit the back roads see the country side
Find what treasures they hide
We'll travel dirt roads untried
Come to a cross roads we'll let the coin decide
To no rules we'll abide
We'll take it all in stride
Let the fates be our guide
Over *** holes we'll glide
Just you and me, best friends, side by side

You think you're golden.

You're just a delicious lie wrapped in false promises.

And like the gratification of the taste,
Your pleasures are fickle and temporary.

You can fake the shine -
Polish the luster of your smile -
But any open eye can decipher what's real
And you're not.

You think you're golden
And you are.
Fool's gold always has value
As long as fools shall search.

Don't fall in love-
I have done that before.
Instead climb above
It. And save yourself the drama,
the gore.

If you think love is an ocean,
I suppose you are right.
But if ever an ocean could burn
It'll be when two lovers fight

And if you believe love is a mountain,
I reckon that it's equality true.
To traverse such upsetting terrain
One has to be content,
At once, blue

Don't fall in the ocean.
Instead, climb the mountain
With commitment and devotion
And I promise you'll find
The vast ocean, a beautiful fountain
Opt to live above the barrier of love. As beautiful as love may be, it is but a fountain compared to the vast and endless ocean that is life

Confidence was gained over a period of time
So was experience and expertise
Everything in present cannot be like it was in the past
A lot has happened since the past has happened to be a thing of past
The past and present are two different things, two different states and two different sides of the same coin
Over a period of time the past varies from present as does the present varies from past.

As time passes by things change
Over a period of time what happened in past remains a thing of past
A lot has changed in everything done before in past when compared to present.
The individual remains the same
His skills, methods, techniques, they remain the same, as they are
Originality holds it's state, position and place.

Striving to win always remains the aim
It goes on in mind since the past,
In present too
Also along in the future
Striving to win remains the aim.

Now all that remains is related to time
It’s a matter of time,
Within a period of time everything has changed

Still the mind and it's thought are active
As of now the mind is at work and work goes on
Relating to the past,
Ascertaining the future
Again at the same moment of time remaining in the present moment of time is what goes on at some point of time during the day
It’s like the work of a pendulum clock that keeps ticking throughout the day
It's the mind that is at work and work goes on.
The pendulum is responsible for making the clock keep time.
