Being held in your embrace,
Your head against my chest.
How could you wonder why,
I love this so so much?

It's gentle security against the:
Mind that claws itself every day,
People sparring against our hope,
Tumultuous times this life gives.

An act of love, of friendship,
Compassion and closeness.
You are my companion,
A joy unrivalled in my life.

Everything said here,
Is captured in a perfect act:
Our arms wrapping around,
Bodies pressed together.

Your hugs. My hugs.

Pulling away when
closeness is overwhelming;
Always the lone wolf.
Rebecca Gondek Jan 2016
You grabbed my scarf in the silent shadows
Of that wintery night.
To bring me closer to your open soul
To bring me warmth with your soft breath

And all at once, piercing winds
And tingling fingers
Were unknown to us
Just as the rest of the world-
Vanished.
So too my longing-
Vanished.

And I found a warmth only
Once imagined, in the depths of my
Dreams.

And now I no longer fear the blustered wind
At my back
For you are there
And it is but not a dream.

You know sometimes
You catch me unaware

Like when I'm brushing your hair
And you rest your head on my stomach
But I feel your warmth in My chest
Inhale, Exhale
As I always have
but there's a Change in my breath

And suddenly this moment
Becomes very real,
yet ethereal
it delicately spreads.
Like my fingers
Through these
Waves cascading
Down your neck
Framing
Your beautiful face

It leaves a smile on mine
To be sharing this space with you
In this place with you
Meet your eyes gaze

You call me Rhipunzal
But it's your locks
That give me a way in
Got me appreciating
Little moments like this
The closeness, the bliss
And I may still have a lot more to
Learn about love
But I can feel it here
In the quiet
On your forehead
In my kiss
Vibing to NAO - Adore you
really adds to this feeling <3

Conflation groweth between ourn sinews
We shalt row upon the island's with canoe's;
The eyelet's aloft us shalt sprinkle celestial powder
We're long away from civilization, dusk hour's.

Fondu pupil's, art the culture to that moment
Her hug's, like gods cloak, encases me with a bonus;
Snug Creation's forgetting the cares around them
The only thing's we thinkest of, art the love's blend.

Justice run's through ourn courtship
As the scales art finely balanced;
None ogre's to looketh over ourn shoulder's
Ourn closeness, keepeth them silenced.

I walked slowly
to spend more of eternity
with you, and

when you turned to
usher me closer
what you didn’t realise
was that I was
already
there

How do you forget magic?
The kind that
tickled our legs
while we layed
chest to chest,
breath to breath,
thigh to thigh.

Or the kind that shatters
every fairytale dream
I dreamt.
With a single kiss
we burned away twilight,
and brought the moon
crashing to our feet,
setting fire to our lives.

I wander down padded blue halls and hear cries
behind closed doors guarding our summer lies .
The boy outside with the gold hooped ear
calls it a ghost town
then takes another drag and tears
slip past his locked up frown.
I never knew his name
