Um, so...?

(sonnet #MMMMMMMDVII)

Say coffee, no, dark choclate whose pretense
Falls short of that, or lo, a cuppa they'll
Assure you is quite good for health, t'avail
Dad's late exper'ments--coc'nut oil dropped thence
In favour of now Hershey's cocoa--whence
I sip half wondring at the ***** scale
Of "coffee," swirling sludge 'til that detail
Unmasks this "Special Dark" hot choclate hence.
And all he'd brew me ere is not sae poor
Now I am forty, as put off in lieu
As twere of, well, concoctions in grand tour
Mayhap of more than just good coffee.  Who
Shall say but that is...better?!  O what were
You thinking, Girl, when you spelled out what'd do?

Ya, kick me to Timbuktu.

Chocolate dreams
Never ending fantasies
I keep it going
So to not lose my sanity
I’m trapped in this box
That I’ve made to keep you away from me
How much longer
Before you give up on me
It’s the same story
Each and every year
And I wonder what’s wrong with me

I can’t contain myself
I can love you past the end of time
I’d make more dimensions
Just to prove my love
But it’s not enough
I know,
You want more
You’re no give and all the take
And if I do it
I know it’s a mistake
Self respect I cannot contain
The flowers bloom
At the expense of the rain
But it’s alright
I know,
That you’re worth it in the end
That’s why I’m happy when it rains

the chocolate melted in my mouth
as fast as you slipped away from me

miss you terribly
eating too much chocolate
not good for me ugh
My first try at Haiku. Despite stereotypes, men do this too.

The waters run
Murky deep.
Muddy chocolate
For my eyes.
I really do love just short poems with imagery.

She called my name
And gave me a bar of chocolate from her hand
The most joyful time of my life
I felt like my future will be filled with bright lights
So I ate it
But when I realized it, it was too late
The chocolate passed the expiration date
Then woke up in the emergency room
Soldiers have forgotten the taste of nectarous,
Hunger for food faded,
And hunger for victory raged,
So came blood fountains replacing chocolates'.

shadows and silhouettes
dancing on the ceiling.
blinding blue lights
circle the bathroom mirrors
stained with purple lipstick.
silent vibrations from your phone
blocked by the shower’s storm
and overflowing sink water.
spilled lotion bottles
and untouched lemon wicks.
wadded tissues
colored in colorless tears
drowning in puddles
of the bathroom tiles.
girls’ giggles in the room next,
moaning through the right wall,
and sad chocolate eyes
abandoned behind the shower curtains.
wet hair, wet mascara, wet sobs;
your sad chocolate eyes
trapped in a nightmare.
