Took the bus to my class
On the window seat listening to the music
The air blew the heat on my face
While I sat there and watched outside

Out of nowhere, a sunshine entered
Distracting every passenger and passerby
My music blurred and my eyes took charge
To see that wonderful girl ahead

She got on with a smile so bright
And sat next to my seat
Her hair spread the coconut scent through my head
And it grabbed me by my heart and stayed

Sweet and beautiful she turned her head
Towards my shocking face and frozen eyes
Somewhere deep inside was the conscious me
And she took me by surprise with her sweet gentle smile

Hello, I am your busseat
Or should I introduce myself as buttseat
And I have seen butts aplenty
Big and small, ***** and neat
This is my plea, the only one I swear
Please wash yourself and change your underwear
On a regular basis, you won't believe how long my day is
When sat upon by hundreds of cheeks,
of doubtful hygiene, young ones or antiques
I read somewhere "there is a poem in everything". I was  riding the bus to work and thought to myself "challenge accepted". How did I do?

no talk
i was with my mate going to work
when i saw the couple on the bus
they were young and in their 20s
he had mousey hair and she was blond
they were taking time out

and travelling in the philippines
she was finishing her teacher training
and he was a soldier between deployments
while i was commuting to work

in the city to my bpo job
we talked in my head
not in the real world

they were innocent and untouched
she wasn't abused by her students
he hadn't seen his mates blown up

all that was to come
should i of warned them?
be vigilant and strong
but no no no

they had to learn for themselves
the london couple on the makati bus
they reminded me of my old mates
when i lived in essex and london
years ago...

...3 were soldiers
where are they now?

Girl with her head laid against the window
Hair that's bleached the light color of yellow
Why does your sadness bring me down so?

I wish to wrap arms around you
And earase all the pain that lies above
To replace your broken hart with love

But our relationship could never start While I would try to cure your hurting hart
There is no doubt, ide tare it back apart
a woman
still left
extra once
again there
when her
man set
her black
dye in
addition to
her twice
swept hair
thus threw
her lion
on the
back of
a ninth
street line
Love 'Ya Lions

Hindi na umulan ngayong gabi, pero
basa pa ang kalsada.
Sa loob ng bus na sinasakyan,
tuyo ang aking puso
at umuulan ng luha.

//

It no longer rained tonight, but
the road is still wet.
Inside the bus I'm on,
my heart is dry
and it is raining tears.

How did that happen?

Was it you? or me?

Why did you look to me?
Why didn't I look away?

How long did we sit there,
before the bus shook us back into reality?

Was it 5 seconds? a minute or two?

Who knows.

But it changed everything
Dude this actually happened

Passing headlights paint-
ing highways down shuttle aisles,
Whitney wants to dance.
This came to me when I was on the bus to the mall tonight and Whitney Houston's "I Wanna Dance With Somebody" was playing on the radio. Even the littlest moments in life can be poetic.

Ride the bus every day
till the sun makes its way
out of chaos,
the temperamental blues
like a dog going after
the isolated leaf
searching for the breath
of eternal grief.

send me over
a postcard
of tense yesterday
push me further
than where you departed
during the doomsday
hallelujah is the last hurrah.

Another day, another way
till summer rain, till winter sane
drifting away, drifting away,
way, way further,
way, way further.
