Sole stars shine together in a nightly swirl
sharing light with the collective whorl as each wink in turn.
I am only my mother's son in this moment.
As is everyone a bright point in the lineage of our family,
looking up at a familiar heavenly mirror.

Even the heavens fade.
Minds reflect this godly tact.
Entropy is a fact that we fight
or are we acting?
Afraid to admit how warm the cold's embrace?
How law dictates we hold opposing states.
Clinging silence saturates space between bodies,
between sparks of life.
Fretful existentialism balanced by... nothing.
Whole galaxies begin, then submit,
when only a simple hello reaches me passed the moonlight.

Countless hellos overwhelm.
Connecting with the universe through metaphor is beautiful
but after all, we are only human.
Messy in our emotion.
The restless observer should practice patience to find peace under heaven.
Stoic stars accept a proper pace of degrade.
Us people struggle
to fade with grace.
Tiger Striped Sep 2019
in another lifetime
we stand grounded in perfect heat
your gaze keeps me from drifting
and you hear my whisper above the
roar of the swelling throngs
we feel no pain now,
though our cheeks once knew
the salt of tears and blood
yet you were there,
you washed my face
and i yours
because you never once doubted
what i looked like beneath
and once our feet hit the ground,
we are here to stay,
fixated on an astronomical alignment
two stars, illuminated:
you and i

but in this lifetime,
you burn too bright
an imperfect heat that scathes the skin
gravity pulls me from my dreams
and keeps me orbiting around reality
we drift slowly past,
brushing briefly, only
long enough to believe i know you
but in a moment, when
time and space disagreed
our propinquity lasts a lifetime

As I go
Stargazing
I see that someonr
Took
A sharpie
And draw all over the sky
As the sun sets
These
Doddles
Are the work of the creator
For only
It can do this
Much
Detail
In a drawing
Starry Sep 2019
The love we shared
With each other
Has gone to hell
And back
Now our love
Forms the stars
Of the Dippers
Starry Sep 2019
As
I
find
love
The whole universe cracks
And the fabric of
time and space
rips.
Starry Aug 2019
With the fact that
This young woman
Did a lot more
Than house work
And Imvu
This week she
Proudly holds
Up a star
Offering it
To the creater.
Starry Aug 2019
The bartender asked
Dark matter
What do you Want to
Drink
He said that he wanted
A tiny star
Innocent
On the rocks
Thus the star is gone.
Starry Aug 2019
Little star
As Rihanna
Said
Shine bright like
A diamond
A diamond in the sky
Or star.
Starry Aug 2019
When I see a
Clear dusk sky
In the evening
I like to imagine
That
We have more neighbors
In our solar system
And that we have more moon
Like that of a scifi or fantasy novel
Back to reality.
Starry Aug 2019
The Pleiades are so close
Or they seem that why
As we drive on a mountain
Pass
I wonder if I can see the big dipper.
