Mrs Ashley Somebody
Who are we when we're spacing out
Or watching someone mindlessly?
Who are we when we let go of it
Because we forget about stressing?

Who are we when we forget to be angry
And release the sad thoughts inside?
Who are we when there's just nothing left
That we feel we have to hide?

Will we find that we are words
Tossed mindlessly to the breeze
Will we find that we were a sigh
An smile seen only by the trees?

You were a whispered word
I wished I'd never heard.

Sky
Sky, oh won't you cry
And sing a song of sadness
Rain and run the risk.

Why I'm Single

You know men are just plain better
At most things that we do
You may say wait one minute
But inside you know it's true

A man can change a tire
We can even build a house
We know when it's time to talk
And when to shut our mouth

Some woman think we're crazy
So I've been told a time or two
If only they would listen
When we tell them what to do

Well as a man myself I'll tell you
Exactly what you need
I know that you will understand
For your job is just to please

Now it could be that a woman's job
Is much harder then I think
For after all I'm not dead yet
And that still amazes me

I've heard woman say they can't believe
I've been single for so long
Then they shake their head and walk away
I think there's something I'm doing wrong

What could it be,..lol

...Now before I get any hate mail, this is just a joke on being a chauvinistic pig. This is not at all how I feel.  I have three older sisters and I 100% know that woman can do most things better then men. I admire and respect all woman.

Think it's a headache?
Your mind lies to you, it's not...
What is it really?

If you are honest,
You'll say the same as them all
That you never knew
The world was so big a place
With so much sadness.

Complicated things
Now seem commonplace somehow
When innocence fades.
We are all lonely in this world.
I think we just need someone
to walk by our side.
The catch is that that someone
needs to stay there.
**Forever.

You told me that you were fine
But I knew you never said that
You'd always answer, "Wonderful!" or "Great!"
I knew the place you were at.

There was something in your mood
The way you held yourself
It was obvious that you were bothered
But what was behind feeling depressed?

I tried to go on as if I hadn't seen
That one look in your eye
But I couldn't act the happy way I do
When you looked like you wanted to cry.

I was afraid that you would start
To pour it all on me
But that was unhealthy, because I knew
I couldn't be your one and only.

I didn't want to pull away
You'd know and wonder why
Our connection and our friendship knew
The meaning of every sigh.

I couldn't ignore what was bothering you
This you couldn't outlive
So I just held you as you breathed
Knowing that was all I could give.

I'd seen your scars in the past
You'd told me what they were
But I knew there was something deeper within
That made you feel impure.

I wouldn't pursue the subject of your pain
That I knew was inflicted by you
I'd keep you in my prayers, and someday
You'll find a love that's true.

to idolize a segregated love
against fear, that knows nothing of failure, hurt, destruction
to cage evil, to make evil, by making cages
and to venerate, righteously, some ideological and illogical heaven
to loose sight, of the dark
and be blinded, in sheer light
is to forget beauty,
real beauty
is lost in piousness
in gross
over simplifications
in staunch
suppositions,
unintelligent
and heartless,
some dreary
mundane
banality;
and to lose beauty,
is to lose life.

without death you are dead
and if there were only good there would be no good at all
and truth is true by falsifiability

never lose sight of the terror
that waxes at beauties heart
with trembling and real love,
shaking for the unshakeable,
and put demons in their place next to angels,
bring shadows to the light,
or you'll know nothing
of great dreams
of shifting colour and hue
and shade and shine
and here we are
and here
we are

I say
give me it all,
I'll refuse nothing,
grant me totality,
hand in hand with
my union-
godly
I am for wholeness-
divided
I am for
the world

I am a lover
feel, I need to feel
I am a lover
sense, I need to sense
I am an artist
see, I need to see

this
reality:

here,
to hide nothing
to hide nothing
to
hide
nothing

and see
forever!

with the call of the wild
you reach me
the silent spaces
you heal me
the joys of others
you feed me
with compassion
you love me

Her feet tread lightly on the snow,
Leaving no imprint, no imprint.

She is frightened to look up,
No laughter, No tears.
Nothing but this masquerade.

And when the reaper gently holds her soul,
He is not weighed down by her presence.
her feet tread lightly on the snow,
Leaving no imprint,
*No imprint.
Do I have an imprint?

"I sit in despair,  looking everywhere.
Your no longer there.
The tears are upon me, yet
you know where to find me.
It's not fair that this love i have for you
lingers only in me, taken quickly as a leaf
falling from it's tree.
The pain never subsides, because of
dreams that seem so alive.
Your with me when i sleep, alone when i awake.
Taking days, day by day, until the lord has me to take."
