Raven Blue
Violet to black roses;
Doors of wonder closes;
Pomegrenates in winter;
Weeping willows wither.

Beneath the space and stars, I lie,
Under the dark and lonely night,
Enveloped in the thoughts of mine
I dream of dreams to feel delight.

Among desires 've lost my sight,
     Within eternal fields of mind,
Losing the shadow fight inside,
I think of thoughts that left behind.

Through whole my life I have survived,
Along with lonely nights and pry,
Living my life like just arrived,
I feel the feelings staying high.

In depth of sea and sky, I dive,
Amidst the dream and lucid life,
Dimmed by the instinct to survive,
I die of dying in own strife.

This body fell once before,
Running itself to extinction,
In the pursuit of the great word.

Piece after piece, as each thought left,
As each prose was transcribed,
The body too, began to fade.

The resurrection has begun.
A small step forward, with it a line.
The magic flows, the body grows.

A step becomes a stride.
A line becomes a poem.

The exchange has equalized.
The give and take finally in unison,
Healing the body and the mind.

Late night written lines,
Reveal bold, brilliant insights,
Made trite by dawn's light.

A solitary seagull sits bobbing on the waves
the waves culminate together and generate cascades
The seagull stays determined he will not be dragged down
yet one little misjudgment of a wave and this poor fellow will drown.

Walking along the promenade in Bisceglie, Italy I saw a single seagull sat on a wave. Painted this image in my head.

She twists my name
In a welcome greeting
The lilt, a pleasant change
To an oft' heard word
And when my thoughts
Boil and steam my being
That crooked name
She calls out
And reels me back to sanity

Dig deeper--
For the answers you seek
Require travel farther beneath
An ambiguous surface
Along a foundation of strength
Tracing the tips of my roots
Is where you'll discover
My soul, my truth

My soul turned a desert.
I can't grow a rose anymore.
I can't seek the red petals.
For, they have fallen for you
mourning for all the hope
that turned into nothing
but love deprived thorns.

Zero the Lyric
Lithe is the ballerina's lucidity
As the violin's language is eloquent
Through a minute's seconds lost in a moment
Oh, How the record must be kept in memory

To be spun in this garden of our axis
Then a new softness begs for the same apple
So that an old grace may sing a new thesis
Some forget to leave the dancer's dreams supple

Because the violin will continue to bend
And the ballerina will spin despite an end
Still, some forget within their pride to ask, "Why?
Does this cursed curiosity outlive its mystery?"

Then you trust in the revolution you chose to record
For this choice was made before, upon your own accord
From her emblazoned toes to her fingers in flight
As sure as a same sound could change, the answer is quite,

such strong gales of wind
pummel the windows again
as a gavel does.

the wind has caught up to us once again,
billowing around the spinnaker
as she dips the helm ten degrees starboard.
we've reached six knots,
a nautical dilemma when the cat's paws
signal the departure of a strong gust.
she rides the wind-waves,
a natural captain, she is,
as we continue on home.
a thank you to my sister for her excellent helms-work
