when darkness falls upon my death
this heart is reaped
head laid to rest
do not weep
nor steep regret
you mustn't grieve a hollow chest

the calling of a soul to shed
all mortal sheaths
and specious breath
divinely deemed
a doom beset
by shadows of a hollow chest

as darkness breathes within our breast
our spirit clings
to walls of death
envisioning
a light bereft
imprisoned by a hollow chest

there's a certain song that's wept
within the halls
of sacrament
grief begone
and faith beget
freedom from a hollow chest

Slowly all the questions

Turn into lingering reflections ;

And all the petty and the worthless

Have become the most precious .

and , "This we do in remembrance ,"
              "Lest we forget ,"
              "Takes place in eternity ,"
are but not as dramatic :

. . . . . . . . . only greater . . . . . . . . .

. . . . . .The acorn than the tree . . . . . .

Accept these seconds for what they are ,
       (Sunlight filtering through the
grates of life deep into the soul's eye)

When I was small
   and I knew it all

When life was fast
   and nowhere to go

I just see myself looking back
   through the rear view mirror

And : When "Then" turned into "Now"
And : I'm not so sure about anything now
And : I want life to slow down
And : Last , taking forever to get here

   It was fear looking back
   In the rear view mirror

We wait for light to dawn on us
As we plan our dreams at night
Planning our entrance to a new day
Knocking on the door we visualize
Run a path of with so many errands
Tired soul, looking for the right exit
Before we are shut out into the cold
We need to enter through the exit
As darkness descends at the day’s end
Many travelers prefer the starry canopy
The wild wilderness and embrace night
Inclement weather one has to weather
Drenched to the soul and feeling tired
It’s time to go look for the shelter
Darkness brings us closer to the cosmic beauty
As we retire exhausted, we travel unknown places
Universe holds so many secrets
Hidden from the bright daylight and noises
Night cuts out the unnecessary activities
As we delve deeper into our souls
Looking for another path to follow
Waiting for the dawn and many chores
Night’s light shall finally drape our soul
As we retire again for the night

When the Beauty I See
In the Land and the Sea
Even the Flowers to be
But not like She

When the Love I See
Within the Flower and Bee
Even in my Heart to be
But not like She

Many paths do we take
Many roads in our wake
Many bridges with their tolls

Onward travelers
bless us all
Heroes born to challenge's call

Obstacles vanish within our path
toil not with guiding staff

Wandering travelers throughout our life
we share our stories of good and strife
on roads of signs which way to take
to travel best for all's at stake

Lonely travelers is you and me
we merge at times
on roads
we share
and talk our journeys
of rough and smooth
and find our wisdom
in enlightened mood

etched under my skin
flame roses blister

scars on the palms
of my hands bleed
stigmata thorns

my eyes freeze to crystal
the tears around my neck are
fashioned in lace black obsidian

my lips - the color of amber
and fire - are vows
never broken

my moons are scarlet
my stars are cold
my sun is silver
and beaten GOLD

The sand swirled around her bare feet and she closed her eyes
shards of lava nestled in her skin, forming a shield
indigo shells catching light as a sun sets in the reflection
the moon rises in the east as the sun blazes orange
clouds chasing one another like puffs of smoke rising from a fire
is that us my love? is the fading of a day the love you had
letting go
letting go
letting go
is that us my love? are we losing, are we losing, are we lost?
