It's nearly midnight
On another Monday's eve
And I have so much work left undone
Yet the first thought on my mind
Is of your sleeping form
And that perfume you always wear
And the way you'd lace your fingers
Through mine and press your lips
To my hand before whispering "goodnight"

I should be working on something
But the first thought on my mind
Is of you
As is the second
And all that follow

Everything is a paradox
From the fireflies to the boondocks
There is no paradigm
No pattern to be followed
You have to climb
Through the slime
the crime
the grime.

Time?
None.
Everyone will be outdone
In a world where anyone
Gets a trophy for their shelf
It's all about yourself

Relax while you can
Doctors, rapists, the businessman

Set fire to the bible
This is it, you're tribal

**** until you die!
Drink, steal, lie.

Because nothing matters.
Now go,

run,

scatter.

Very often the lies of lust seems more authentic
Credibility of the truth of Love is at stake

There is a woman, her name is anonymous, she's strong and has an understanding of the ominous. She lives in a house with an infinite view on top of mount Olympus where she grew up battling Ares and learned that life doesn't have to be so serious. Kissing a poem like her is why I'm wishful, to feel the silk underneath her clothes is what keeps my chest slow and blissful. As a poet I'll call her Athena, the one who's anger can devour the flesh of anyone who enters her arena, a goddess in her own right, she even has three golden apples from Eris, sitting atop a bowl of emeralds in her eye, its quite the sight, when I look into them I feel like I'm going to lose all control and fall to her every whim so I must fight, fight until she stays with me another night.

As winter steals the day from out the skies, you stole the beauty from out my eyes, the leaves fall and are washed out to sea, i'm struggling to go on the pain will let me be, darkness washes over my soul disguising the brakes but everybody knows, they see the tournament in my eyes, they know the truth behind my lies they see the broken dreams left behind, and the twinkle that never shines, a shadow of my former self, a tired mind low on health, on the edge too late to see what heaven has in store for me, it's purgatory that hold my soul, once alchemists turn lead to gold, or until she returns to set me free, to complete    my heart and be forever with me.

I’m trying to grasp the concept of your hands grasping me, and there’s light in your serenely contorted sweat;
Bulging veins pressed against sweet warm delicate mouths exerting a mass of please, and please what?, and a quiet commotion of soft tongues making love, fighting slow and easy for something like a longer I love you, maybe, or another tight grip towards a vulnerable destination, where angels live in the whites of your glassy eyes, but I just want heavens doors to slam shut.
I might be the devil and I demand: “Oh please dear god”, but my body is your only savior and getting on your knees to worship a little never hurt anyone.
I ache for your touch, till your flames are still
I am swimming in thoughts of your ice-made skin, and I am satisfied with hypothermia
Beg for you to watch me choke on my breaths until you can write a whole new list of tasteful sins on my naked flesh.
I want to swallow you whole, want to melt away with you until we deliquesce into one.
I crave you
and me
a few hundred tick-tocks full of skin on
tender
post-possessed
skin.

I can feel it.
Just under the surface, it's there.
That hard prominent perfection.
Under my fingertips that trace my imperfections.
They are there.
Beautiful and white.
Just pull my skin tight and you can feel them too.

When we're young
These are what we see
Girls with makeup
And nice bodies

From the shows we watch
To the toys we play with
From the books we read
To the pictures we're shown

We're superficial for good reason
It's all we've ever known
Blonde hair, big *****
Tiny waists, long legs

Constantly in competition
We compare ourselves to everyone
Who's outfit is prettier?
Who's skin looks better?

Size 2, small shoes
Tan skin, long lashes
Always expected to be perfect
Too ******* ourselves because we're never enough

We were programmed to be materialistic
Never really had a choice
Any other way, we're called ugly
Not as good as the pretty ones
