Immutable: you 🫵...have nothing to be anxious about 👍
Dear me, I hope this letter finds you kind, I hope it finds you at ease, I hope it finds you as you were born.. a soft spring breeze. I am writing this letter to inform you that you still have space to unfold, that you are a continuum that doesn’t have to settle for the broken uni-verse where you were unraveled. You, love, are not limited to your synonyms. You can develop into a sandstorm speaking the names of the Saharas to your left and to your right. a sandstorm that does not blind the sufi midnight traveler. a sandstorm that travels beyond the desert. a sandstorm carrying a water-well for the thirsty. You can develop into an ocean that doesn’t stand in arrogance where there is land. an ocean that waxes and wanes to the rhythm of the moonlight caressing you. an ocean that doesn’t erode the rocks standing on its shore. You can develop into a soft spring breeze that makes a home of all the other seasons. a soft spring breeze that gently ****** through a baobab tree trunk. a soft spring breeze that playfully tickles the arms of a nesma on her university bus writing this. Kindly find attached to this letter the love your father has tucked in bed a long time ago and never double checked on it. Kindly find attached to this letter the understanding your mother stored in the kitchen cabinet she is too short to reach. Kindly find attached to this letter the forgiveness you have tried to grow out of sunflowers seed every winter. Always sincerely, Forever yours.

The distant hollow of the high mountain pass swallows the setting sun as it steals away southbound behind the coastal mountain's tangerine sunset hued silhouettes Mulberry plashed shadows pointing northward across the evergreens outstretched dimming, beneath the waning fade of each fleeting eventide Sundown ebbing asunder the wafting daylight, each gloaming of the day, helplessly a moment sooner past, transfixed further south beyond yesterday's passing azure The lazy days of summer escape unbounded, nomadic as the sea I've seen sail away before; evanescent as the beauty of the bloom summer days beheld and the memory of the fragrance they exhale The nebulous weight of the gravity is consciously denied by the truths a human heart beholds A moment’s epiphany afflicts like a rogue wave in a calm sea; the only thing my heart ever wanted remains out of reach Everything my heart needs consciously surrendering to the poignant passing moment's beauty, the falling sun at distance sets more suddenly now Lost in the undeniable certainty life's imminent season's change Eyes drawn stubbornly from presence to a sky so far away, knowing there'll be no restitution for the welling sense of loss... A bitter sweet song mummers in the silence of the absorbing spell, summer's sun stained pages of watermarked soul scribbles, time tattooed reparation for the indelible ache of a harsh grey winter loneliness Perhaps too familiar, this whelming Déjà vu that tears my soul;     that tugs at these roots but cannot sever their sacred grasp But for now, eyes fixed to the sun's inevitable tightening tether hence — to wear weary each fraying thread's  impending break Each sunset leans a deeper angle southward as it slips down through the firwood shadows; illuminating other faraway latitudes far beyond the distant horizon skies The preordained continuum unfolding what will be ... someone you used to know ... ~explaining light to the blind~ ~for Suzy~ the insanity of even attempting who among us, the sighted, has the capability to clarify an animate inanimate, an untouchable invisible, that can be folded, bent, travel universes unseen at its own chosen speed, even to another sighted and to the blind... imagine then light as something that be recognized from the inside only with in- sight ~***think of the continuum from warmth to steel furnaced heat, that is an element of what is light, the sun cheek kissing, the furnace of chests when you grasp another’s body first time think of light as water, the faucet spigot a measured pouring, that can overshoot, the stream behind the house, a toe tickling masseuse caress, a dam’s waterfall endless crashing, a sea, wave licking sudden raging dangerous blend these sensations that belong to all, and you’ll know light better than most, indeed, light is for those who cannot vision except from the inside with a sight that can be touched, felt, imagined, and which the sightless command better than us ordinary thoughtless indeed light is as simple to understand as   abc, which you have never seen, but creates the words that we all use even share***~

explaining light to the blind
In your eyes shines universe in the shape of your face. The stars whisper verses of unconditional love. Light of the moon emanates with your heart. Sun burns oath of immortality on my skin. Planets dance to the music of our souls. Even the black hole discovered the essence of love. Stardust wraps our bodies and souls. Meteorites juggle in space of desire to hit ecstasy of fated land. Interstellar space is filled with love of devotion. Electromagnetism guards intimacy of our bodies. Gravity is jealous about force of our feelings. Strong impact rising between us. Space-time continuum is richer in our kisses. All forms of matter and energy count light years of love head over heels. Our love was born in the Big Bang's peculiarity, existes since the dawn of time. Atoms formed union of our beings. Star agglomerated in galaxies of fascination and fulfillment. Supernova of our passion is new kind of cosmic explosion. The shock wave propagates even in the toes and feet. We transformed in pure energy. Expansion of our love accelerates. Existence has become a paradise on earth, cosmic catharsis. Love is bliss of *********** with you. Drink a love potion to the bottom of romanticism. You will raise where I am. In you I found the multiverse.

The shadows have their seasons, too. The feathery web the budding maples cast down upon the sullen lawn bears but a faint relation to high summer's umbrageous weight and tunnellike continuum- black leached from green, deep pools wherein a globe of gnats revolves as airy as an astrolabe. The thinning shade of autumn is an inherited Oriental, red worn to pink, nap worn to thread. Shadows on snow look blue. The skier, exultant at the summit, sees his poles elongate toward the valley: thus each blade of grass projects another opposite the sun, and in marshes the mesh is infinite, as the winged eclipse an eagle in flight drags across the desert floor is infinitesimal. And shadows on water!- the beech bough bent to the speckled lake where silt motes flicker gold, or the steel dock underslung with a submarine that trembles, its ladder stiffened by air. And loveliest, because least looked-for, gray on gray, the stripes the pearl-white winter sun hung low beneath the leafless wood draws out from trunk to trunk across the road like a stairway that does not rise.

Home and contentment are synonymous The desire to reach, while innate or evident quiet or curious keeps a continuum over discrepant cultures, the world over An opulence of love and warmth Having one ingredient can make fertile the other One without the match, make an ordinary or secondary batch Making one rich with joy, their other can be broke and remote seeking satisfaction Home is not a location or bricks of residence But a written word in deep established sentiment An atmosphere cloaked in the unfalter The taking of arms to conclude their hold developed in elements of the affectionate No disaster, constructed or natural could alter As I am now, locked in the shadow of shades lost surrendering independent power in a momentary yield, On hands and knees, bloodshot and in need of a shield... In need of my one... the imperative relevance of feeling her That selfish influential significance that creates safe harbor at journeys end Generated by the glow of resolve in the home of her arms contentment

Why Men Like to Load the Dishwasher We are the artists of shape and configuration, puzzle masters solving riddles of physics, worshipers at the altar of labor saving devices, this is a love poem of sorts, a Bazinga salutation, to men and their undying love for **** machines. were it in my power all cups would be handle-less, the dishwasher time-space continuum would be non-interrupted by black holes where handles pointlessly protrude, requiring endless rearrangement, a soul destroying exercise. bowls of any sort should have bottoms that retract. indeed, the capacity increase, a visible fact, is so enviro-friendly, eminently sensible, that the loading for mechanical scrubbing is deserved of a wing in the Smithsonian. perhaps the budgeteers of Congress should be tutored in this artistry, how to make any limited resource, better used. the rub, as the bard would have writ, is that this roaring tempest-tost, our love for hard labor lost, secret sacrificed behind a locked door, of a Sanctum ******** is entirely due, all glory to, the secret society of fairies who hide-reside inside, freeing us to write more poetry. in so many ways that I cannot reveal, less the other gender members squeal, men live to love to load the dishwasher, for the ingenuity challenge, and of course, the side benefit of the excusing coverup, "I helped clean up," a relationship saver, proof positively that the dishwasher inventor, was surely a brilliant woman

Heartstone is a reflection in music on a ‘lost’ poem. The poem described in its two short verses a summer’s day, a landscape, a fossil found and placed in the palm of a child’s hand. The poem inspired a seven-movement work for wind, brass and percussion with solo piano. Here is its poetic programme note. Chert The piano draws an arc of rhythm rising then falling. Above two choirs of wind and brass exclaim, fanfare, mark out shorter, determined gestures of sound. The procession, almost a march, becomes a dance. Alone Two choirs of wind and brass become four couples whose music weaves from complexity a simplicity: Chromatic to Pentatonic twelve becoming five. Prase Four stopped horns, five extended tonalities. Together they wander a maze of Pentatonic paths; alone, and in pairs, as a quartet they discover within a measured harmonic rhythm. Tension: resolution . . . and surrounding their every move the piano insists an obligato, a continuum of phrases, absorbing into itself the warp and weft of horn tone. Heartstone
Sard Oscillating in perpetual motion the full ensemble occupies a frame of time and space. Flutes, reeds, double-reeds brass, piano, percussion mirror-fold on mirror-fold layer upon layer overlapping. Yarns of threaded sound. Tuff Without a break the mirrored oscillations patter pentatonics on tuned percussion of marimba and vibraphone whilst a batterie of drums lays down shards of beaten rhythm against this onward folding of tonality change. *blondes, brunettes and redheads, the goodbye colors of the street's tree choir members and their leafy gowned denizens, the good stiff chill upon them, the selfsame chill in my anguished mind now hiding, sing a comfort food song heard above the quiet terror of the noises of a fall winters-wind precursor "once we green, once we were renewal, life everlasting emblems once, you were wee, green uncaring and free, presuming that you too, were in possession of life everlasting your colors have changed as well, endless is the process, only slower than a tree's scheduled maintenance, moreover, returning you to your first crayon drawing youth unlike us, an impossibility we will turn young again for many seasons more, you never will new eyes will feast upon our glories refreshed and love our cast shade cast yet special are you the man, poet who was chosen to see and tell, witness to our resurrection, during our overlapping, parallel continuum in time when to the shade of hades you physic sent, our limbs, our leaves, our perennial lives, for-as-long-as-they-shall-last, will cover thy remains and give your poems back to the sultry summer breeze from whence they came and the colors of your words will be the colors of a free life everlasting"*

blondes, brunettes, and redheads,
I've always been in place, in situ Maybe (just maybe) ... I'm sui generis? When my lifeline intersected with spacetime on this continuum I found myself moving toward a collision course with duality and non-duality Moving towards a zero-point What are we talking about? Nothing (Rafelski & Muller, 1985) As a geographer, the mimetic expression was dualistic As one plane flowed through another; as fiat lux flowed through Medicine Rock I found wisdom I further explored the duality @ this place (also known as University of Lethbridge) The U of L is an interesting duck It walks like an Albertan university It talks like an Albertan university But one of these things is certainly not like the other The U of L got its chops as a house of learning for the Liberal Arts Follow those roots and you'll see conduits to another spacetime known as UCBerkley U of L memetics share material memories from the birth of the Free Speech Movement (1964) And as Arthur Erickson drafted up his plans for Canada's centennial gift to the Province of Alberta, I'm sure he would have been partaking in the pleasures of this particular spacetime I'm sure at the very least that he was listening to Hendrix wax on about Castles As Erickson designed this modernistic monolith called University Hall There were influences such as Arthur C. Clarke and his novel 2001: A Space Odyssey (1968) He was certainly knowledgeable of the Blackfoot stories of the Old Man And of course as an architect he would be versed in gravity and how built structures on a slope tend to creep toward base-level Strange but true, Erickson's first degree was in foreign languages So what I see is Canada's premier architect wrote a poem for us in 1968 In a foreign language And that poem would be expressed over the next forty to fifty years Some of those primary poetic elements were: Berkley, California Hippie Movement Creep (or gravity) Base level Blackfoot creation stories of the Old Man Jimi Hendrix poetry and his savage musical genius "and so castle's made of sand melt into the sea, eventually." So let's reinterpret that line to be more U of L centric (through my glossy apertures) "and so monolith's made by man melt back into god eventually." ........ ....... ...... ..... ..... .... ... .. . zero~point . .. ... .... ..... ...... ....... ........

I'm not a religious man but god might be there Depends on what you mean and if you think he should care. I'm not a religious man But, man, this got me thinking There really is a new beginning. After a life. That is ending. Your life is a wave Of information and matter The wave started rising long before you ever saw your first mother - I don't believe in reincarnation - but you are a manifestation of all past and present influences past choices and events. Not just by you. But by eons of elders that doomed or blessed you to a life of specific circumstance We are genetic combinations interacting with nature A wave. A continuum Connecting one time to another LIFE IS LIVING THROUGH US Now that's a magical feeling. We are but seasonal leaves on an ever-growing tree A tree that’s stuck with existing that's how it's going to be.

Life is Living Through You
I am thankful for the struggle. Only in death, in the turbulence of losing everything that I am, do I feel alive. Existing in moments such as these, where the continuum of ones own way of life isn't guaranteed, it allows me to have an overwhelming appreciation for what I have here, in this moment.

Appreciation for Tribulation
I don’t believe in goodbyes I believe in hellos, smiles, and questioning whys Goodbyes are an end, a final, a limit Goodbyes are terminus An eradication I believe there is no proper end We are cemented within a cycle A continuum A never-ending relationship with the world A flowing river out of your control Goodbyes imply permanence A life that never changes A dormancy   But Reality has it You cannot fully control your goodbyes A person can reenter your life and leave Over and over and over Then maybe goodbyes don’t even exist People can exist in our memories A perpetual reminder A video stuck on replay A beautiful hazy dream I don’t believe in goodbyes I believe in hellos, smiles, and questioning whys If people continue to touch our lives Leaving a lasting impact A reason why Then maybe goodbyes don’t even really exist Because there is no such thing as a goodbye Because there is no end to relationships Because there is no end to memories Because there is no end to love Because there is no end to the feeling you have We are cemented within a cycle A continuum And this is why I don’t believe in goodbyes I believe in hellos, smiles, and questioning whys Let’s embrace the idea Yet see its amusing foolishness Because maybe goodbyes don’t even exist

I Don't Believe in Goodbyes
I’ve received a lot of good advice in my life “Life is not made by the dreams that you dream but by the choices that you make” My life today is the sum total of all the choices I’ve made up to this point In any given situation, we have a whole continuum of choices—ranging from really rotten choices To the mediocrity of average choices To choices that are good and then to those that are excellent God wants to move us across the continuum Past my natural impulses all the way to excellent choices Excitement mixed with Caution You came from nowhere The Beautiful lady I dream of is who you are It begins by discovering who you are STOP We connected to soon in the wrong way Becoming confused happened more and more Truth became weaker as Passion became stronger 1 wait 2 and 3 times in just a few days of knowing each other Wow we were wrong Love became and then got crushed It was oh so good with More and more confusion STOP IT You are truly wonderful You are you I just want to love you for you I do not need to prove myself to you Very sorry I am All I want to do is serve you in real love Through God and God alone Mistakes have been made Learned from Gods presence never leaves us So today we will thank God together
