Ilang araw at buwan na rin ang dumaan
Mga araw na pinagdaanan at naranasan
Na nagbigay ng aral, pasakit, kalungkutan
Pero nangibabaw pa rin ang kasiyahan
Salamat sa alaala at nakaraan, kaibigan.

Kalahati ng aking tula'y naabot na rin
Ilang piyesa, ilang titik, ilang salita na ang nabitawan
Pakiramdam ko mauubusan na ako ng letra
Pero handa naman akong maubusan
Kung ang paglalaanan ng aking pagiging makata ay IKAW.

Naalala mo pa noong huling tinanong kita ng "Ayaw mo na maayos?"
Ni isang salita wala akong narinig mula sa'yo.
Sabi natin noon, laban lang tayo hanggang dulo
Siguro nga eto na yung dulo.
Siguro oras na... oras na...
Susubukan kong kalimutan ka na
Kahit sobrang sakit sa akin ang talikuran ka.
Bibitawan ko na ang natitirang "sana"
At pakakawalan ko na ang paniniwalang "baka.”

Unang sulyap mapapasabi kayo ng
"Tara!! Sakay tayo diyan"
At lahat ay naghabulan
Papunta sa pilahan.
Sa simula ay naeenjoy niyo pa  
Pero habang tumataas, buong katawan aayaw na
Sasabihin kay kuya operator na
"Kuya, tamypers muna...",
"Kuya tama naaaaaa..."
At yung taympers na yun, mauuwi sa tiis nalang muna.

Ang dating saya nyo pagkaupo ay napalitan ng takot at kaba  
Ang dating ngiti na kay tamis ay napalitan ng ngiting kay pait.
At ang mga tawa nyo sa mukha ay napalitan ng simangot,
At ang malakas na hiyaw na boses nung una
Napalitan ng pabebeng sambit na "ayoko na."

Paalam sa mga pangakong napako,
Mga pangakong naglakbay na sa malayo.
Sa mga katagang "walang magbabago,"
"At tayo hanggang dulo."
Sa mga salita **** binitawan
Ngunit hindi mo napanindigan.

Paalam sa mga nagdaang araw at buwan
Pero salamat pa rin sa mga masasayang alaala na naranasan.  
Paalam sa mga alaalang masasakit akin ng ibabaon
Iiwan na kita sa aking nakaraan
At palalayain ko na ang aking sarili sa nagdaan.
Yayakapin ko na ang hinaharap at ang aking  kasalukuyan.

Sa pagiging estranghero tayo nagsimula noon
Kaya magpapaalam din ako na bilang estranghero ngayon.
At para sa iyong malawak na kaalaman,
Minahal kita, OO, at minsan naging parte ka ng aking mundo
At isa kang karakter na maisusulat sa kwento ng buhay ko
Yun nga lang, matatapos ang kuwento na di ka kasama hanggang dulo.
