A confident man feels not a need to speak
on all things with which he does not agree
Though in the proper time and place
he is not afraid to assert his way

And though his words at times cause spurn,
he will admit when they are out of turn
Fearing not the inevitable mistake,
but rather owning it too late

Caring and feeling without hesitation
and not for reciprocal adulation
Emotions are expressed appropriately;
either subtlety or rationally

As honest with others as with himself;
recognizing what he does and doesn’t do well
Claiming to know what he does know
and asks when he don’t

Pursuing tasks for their benefit and or joy
rather than status or fleeting ploys
Those latter things are often great fun,
but worry of them yields none

While in his mind there is good thinking,
he is more occupied with good acting
In order to have concerns of the ideological,
requires labors that are practical

On his confidence, he does not ponder,
as neither he or anyone wonders
of whether he truly possesses it.
We know it.

unity makes security
happiness is my harmony
honesty means authenticity
vulnerability gives me serenity
contentment equals tranquility
upset any of these immaturely
with aggression or stupidity
will ruin our stability
What are you prepared to struggle for?Everything else is just scenery
An old 2016 poem that's still relevant.

Our minds, our dreams they built a noise;
The men that played with little toys;
The houses, castles of muddy boys;
Towering now they could empower all;

We scream and **** and hunt through malls;
We stamp the weeds through cracks, in awe;
Driving fast to make the trains;
It's those before that take us home;

Past the blocks of all the mighty;
Past the seas and trees that bow;
We end up back to wood and stone;
When they kick us off our thrones;

We let go of a force that needs us;
A swelling pride that really sits beneath;
We sheath our swords our pens our teachings;
Their silence cuts our crowns to pieces;
A meditation on the propensity of the contemporary human being, specifically men to march progressive values over tradition. The principle metaphor being nature, representing the timeless and much more ancient source of value and responsibilities humans should intuitively feel but seem reluctant to confront.

Thus the swelling pride actually comes from the immense pride we subconsciously have for the human project thus far, 130 000 years of basi9c human existing with its traditional family units. and its humble but established origin, not the fast paced castles and toys and malls that we think we derive values and empwerement from.

Men march through life stamping in the weeds of that ethic that goes just noticed underfoot, one human lifetime is not enough to fully appreciate the swords and books and values our ancestors developed over thousands of years so much so that we evade thinking about them completely. That silence, when we truly recognise it, when it looks us in the face when naked cuts our ambitions and glory down to peices.

Or something like that

Some say it happens when we lose control
Some say it happens when the government collapses
I say it happens when we lose our
Values
Morals
If we do not remember our guiding values and morals then we will all become beasts

So I start my drive
There our tickets to the wind
Like a bee hive
Now it’s your turn
Sting yourself in the eye
Oh **** doesn’t matter you’re  still blind

I never asked for sympathy
But empathy would be kind
No you retreat like bear in the winter cold
It’s clear we aren’t together growing old

Does it make you somewhat sad?
this all started with lie that your intent wasn’t bad

Now look what happens now
Alone you left me here you broke a home
Don’t try to tell me this is all my fault
I was the one always trying to call
I sent you cards and gifts
Like a fat ******* who just needed to consume
If your requests indiciate my worth
Then I’ve been a worthless ******* since birth

But I don’t abide by this dismal overview.
No I am worth more to me than I am to you
So what I’m saying is you’ll look back at today
And maybe you’ll regret the things you felt you had to say.

Bye
And enjoy the day
In an Uber (new hash uberpoem)
CREATION OF HIGHER VALUE,
PRECONDITION THE NEGATION OF OLD VALUES.

I find it funny
How we live our lives
Showing our love
And gratitude
And everything else
In the value of
little
metal
pieces
And slips of
paper
Whose value
Is more than it should be,
When all we do is
waste away
Until the world is naught
But dust and starlight.
Currency is a made-up concept yet its insignificance doesn't matter because in this world, it's the only thing that matters.
