Pray to the clouds
To shower you with love
Every drop will revive
The parched garden
Collect every drop
With care
See through cascade
Get a glimpse
Of natural beauty
Glowing with pride
Planted seeds of hope
In your heart
Let dreams wake up
And hope take root
Pray to the clouds
To shower you with love
It rains when you're here, and it rains when you're **g o n e.

Amidst*  the  rains ,
Came  my  teardrops
Unstoppable , camouflaged  and  hidden .
My first 10 Words poem!
Hope you like it :)

Rains wash away
The moments of gloom
Gray skies transforms
Into pristine blue
White cottony clouds
Wipe away few tears
Lights play along
Gifting a rainbow bouquet
World is brighter
Hope spreads its wings
Dreams take to the skies

When it rains ,                                                                                                           It means dogs and cats (heavily)anytime                                                               Simply because not a few drops of rains                                                                Make that rains we expect ...                                                                                   Either heavy rains or                                                                                                 No rains at all ,but                                                                                                     It's not our choice anytime ...                                                                                    It's Heaven's choice that makes rains                                                                      Plenty or not anytime ...

Soft, sweet rains

kind, glancing off my arms

and naked knees

skipping in the rain

~

You used to laugh

and twirl in circles

thinking only happy things

when the rains came

~

If I was in your eyes

I mean really there

reflecting off of you

I could walk in any rain

~

Seems we often

fail to realize

the champion of our fears

can be a quiet rain

~

Where else do we find

a certain solace, a cleansing

love, mist that sweeps

then in a spring rain

~

I once knew a certain peace

I could always be with you

I would surely be content

with only you in the rain.

The clouds welcomed the morning
With a heavy heart they float around
Gloom smeared across the canopy
Carrying the tales of sorrows from afar
Written all over the annals of the sky
A heavy heart, it can longer carry
Waiting for an audience to share their story
Every word raining across the valley
A lone audience drenched in somber moments
The moon lulled itself
Into few second-long naps,
The winds whispered the smell
Of the oncoming rains
As ants did a tight-rope
On the tree's sleeves.
The dog pricked its ears,
Each time the tiny hurricane
Of dried leaves whirled round.
The spider attempted to balance itself
On the maze of its own making,
As the web threads strummed
A happy tune
In response to the wind.
The lull before the storm,
Was becoming too much of a bulk
For the clouds to bear,
Before a slant of water droplets,
(Some drying midway through
The atmosphere's layers,)
Stamped their arrival
On the parched layers
Of land, leaves and minds.
Streaks of lightning
Conducted a survey
On the distribution of downpour
Clicking vintage tinted photographs.
The rains slowed down to a drizzle,
The insects buzzed through a banter,
The moon tried to
Sneak through the clouds,
Surprised at its reflection
In a puddle on the street.
The morning wakes up
Smelling a misty presence
Of the (previous) night it rained.

Overcast weather
Rains have dampened the spirits
Rescued by shared parasol

The night’s silence invaded by rains
Cutting through the darkness
Dingy streets exposed by the lightning
Howling ferociously, with vengeance
Street dwellers soaked to the spirits
Helpless against the outburst of nature
Scurrying to salvage their meager belongings
Cold and wet streets offer them little solace
The old library portico offers some respite
Nefarious activities are deluged
Tonight no one is on the prowl, no prize catch
Although cold outside, it’s been a sleepless night
So many memories rain down my thought crucible
Filling it to the brim, I feel drowning in them
So many emotions raining down on me
A shiver runs down my spine, cold eeriness
Stormy night stirred up my past
My silent present invaded on a rainy night
