I woke up
With a clear head
For the first time in two months
not hiding underneath my pillowcase
For once
I knew what I wanted
And it wasn’t you
For once
I knew I couldn’t keep doing this,
Seeing you
Promising pure intentions
And ending with you curled up naked beside me

You can not make love where there is no love

And I no longer desire you.

For the repercussions have finally pushed me over the edge

I know what I want

And it isn’t you.
I was scrolling through my phone and found something i had wrote and not remembering when i wrote it. It must have been late at night and i just didn't remember. There were lot of bad mistakes and random words before i went through it though.

"A hope or ambition of achieving something"

A noble quest or dreaded chore,
the hallucinogenic toreador,
wisps of whims woven true,
the holy grail of life's breakthrough
Into
eschew
I.O.U's
Pursue.

Devotees to hullabaloo,
Paths of choice and deja-vu,
Plucked and primed for a grand debut,
Machines of malice turning screws.
The zoo..
The zoo...
The zoo...

"The action or process of drawing breath"

Discipline of time tied to view,
Draw in, draw out overdue,
Wrongful breaths, faces blue,
Expectations to live up to.
You do,
Come to,
Review.

Pupils of fate worldview askew,
Daydreams full of all that you knew,
Breathe; exhale; souls subdued,
Caged and waged into servitude
All you do,
Untrue.

See through.

My quill set for the page,

Yet my mind’s eye is upstaged,

Betwixt them sits a wall,

But here no war shall be waged,

I search for beauty and pathos,

Yet my aperture gathers only stone,

If the barrier were to give itself kudos,

For having left my page all alone

But to think of the possibility,

That the wall itself but not a writer,

That the curvature of the laden brick,

Creates a paradox of the block.
Told myself I havent written a poem lately, and I got a rather rapid writers block. so Why not use what I have?

the metal river flows
into ocean city
with bright lights
human rights
no mercy and no pity
past the world before we came
now roadkill and genocide
become our main aim
the future is today
the living moment
we are on our way
without a clue
of a final destination

give us this day our daily bread
sustained life is better than dead

we fight our wars
oppress populations
make us a game of it
on console by playstation
killing our conscience
with technological brain washing

a game of thrones
and ideology
I can tell the time
in over two thousand years
but I still can't tell
what day it is
people come and people go
the metal river
it flows and it flows

Nothing changes if nothing changes
Nothing changes if things only change
Change is needed to take on any challenge

But change is not always progress
We strive for more, never less
While our resources are not limitless

One more step can help you advance
One more step can make you fall
A step in and on itself doesn’t make much sense
Without the right direction to reach the goal.

Life is short
And time is borrowed;
“If freed today,
I’ll preach tomorrow”

...spoken from
His prison cell,
The faithful one
Who conquered hell

When kings and men
Put him to flight
He stood his ground
Without a fight

And gladly took
To shackles – chains –
To prove to all
His Faith remained

---

Life is short
And time is borrowed;
“If freed today,
I’ll preach tomorrow”

See, he had been a
Prisoner, freed,
From far more
Fearful enemies

The first of which
Was his own flesh:
A death which died
Its death in Death

The Death of the
Triumphant King –
The Holy One –
The King of kings!

---

The One who
Traded life for Life –
Who gave it all
And took the knife…

…that he would sing
Without a sorrow:
“If freed today,
I’ll preach tomorrow!”

Inspired by the story of the English writer, John Bunyan, best remembered for his book *The Pilgrim's Progress* (the second best-selling book of all time)

Raised on vaccine
Children of the thorny hedgerows
Lines blur
Minds stir
But lungs breathe in the bloom

Raised on old wives tales
Children of the wide open sea
Sights clear
Horizon blue
But brain dead in the surf

There's strength in numbers
Once immunity is lost
So is hope

I'm so tired so now I'm dreamin
But now I'm so tired of dreamin
Cant even remember the skin I'm in
Or who it was that got where I am

Now I commit a cardinal sin
Find a sacrificial altar to begin
Place my soul somewhere within
This is where one part is at its end

My body will make its exit
Somebody will cease to exist
Yet its all worth it I insist
Gotta make it to subsist

I killed myself and found someone else
But he walked in my skin with a little less
Less weight on his back its good I guess
But the old spirit wants to possess

It wants its body back from this stranger
The haunting tries just who is stronger
Who will I be as time goes longer
I think my present will be placed on the altar

Another casualty to causality
Death built up my personality
But who will keep my body
It definitely wont be the current me

But whose to say there's a future somebody
Who will take ownership of this body
I think that this body will eventually
Just belong to nothing, nobody

All he does is march on
but you can't **** progress
he knows where all
the bodies are buried
