sinking in tides that like the blue nights you spent smoking out dream after nightmare until they turned to ashes of shattered glass bottles that once held your dusty peace together only distracted you from the haze left behind from your speed boat of orange memories and endless applauses of accomplishments, you are not a failure just because the ink in your pen ran out of rhymes, you are a full solar system with planets to call your own, the ropes at each moon are yours to call home and no amount of broken silhouettes will track anyone to your tents of stocked up dried out flowers, even when your heart is being licked with cold flames of metals you still cant fail to pronounce with the back of your scorching tongue

There was your before anything else
and then there was God. Then heaven,
the universe, and too from Him
came the sun, the moon, the planets,
the earth; the dusk, the dawn,
Adam and Eve, a succession of prophets,
and then finally me.

Your pupils collided, in crescent moon
Venus and Jupiter approaching swoon
Spiral of rings extend toward the Earth
Dancing upon your laughter and mirth

Lovers sway in light of distant planets
Built solid on base made from granite
Together a joy and beauty past slight
Two becoming one that stardust night

Your smile makes the roses grow your laughter make them bloom when I’m with you I never feel alone, you remind me of space cause you’re the whole solar system. The earth is the beauty of your description and everything that you are worth, Your eyes make the stars shine simply take my tears and fill them with joy and I’m glad that your mine. Feel like I’m Pluto a small blue cold rock because I’m not worthy of having you, but you turn thing around and make me feel like Jupiter so big nothing can take us apart. When I make love to you feel like a shooting star making my heart beat race to a secret land near by a warm desert sand, you’re the light to the sun bright as the moon, you’re the trees that I breathe your everything to me. You’re the ring of Saturn that hold us together and make the galaxy sing, when I’m not with you anymore that how know the world is going to end. I thank you to be part of my life and amazing friend, my memory of you will never fade we will no longer be a shade, thank you for making me feel worth something again.

i
drown
in the gasses
of a jovian sea

on the
red spot of
Jupiter
and of the
twin moons
Io is my only
light

she hoves
a pale blue green
sea creature
in the
phosphor

swirling
like a dervish
the world of
a pervasive
and perverse
nature
wears black lillies
and widow's weeds

i
was
in the
past when
i looked up
at the stars
already gone nova

a connect the dots
roadmap
that is
nothing

Thinking about perception
and how we process
what we see

As far as I'm concerned
we may as well be
on Jupiter for all we really
know of the universe
even our own planet

Most of history is a lie

She had swapped her stolen soul,
Withe the 'Spirits of Saturn'
Her fractured heart,
Withe the 'Diamond Seas'.

I don't think I can stop this storm,
It's red hull churning,
Stirring the golden flakes for years on end.
Burning for four centuries now,
It finally starts to slow.
Time makes it harder.
I wish I could remember

The starlight,
Precious and pure        (Just like her promise)
Flows from her words
Cold and distant
Far off from here        (Just like my memories)
But it’s the moon,
That pulls her waters
It’s not the distance that counts

For me
Everything isn’t dark enough
Rings and winds,
Is the difference
Between us.
Iced over in methane,
Along the belt of Cetus
I’d still like to see
Eccentric descend.

When the eclipsed shrinking planet,
And the father of Jupiter
Gathered with our sister,
Who could tell no difference
Between night and day,
Aligned in serenade
Under the window of his lover.

Red with the ice of mars,
Seasons twice the length
And the largest with no seasons to bare
Ah, But it is the blue one,
Who didn’t get it’s chance
To shine
Fore,
It’s moon was found.

The sun
3 hours before it’s seen
It is too far,
For something so small,
But far from insignificant.
And it stayed in place,
To watch
Jupiter ascend.

With the stars strung on my back,
I’ll go the length,
Just to show you,
That the
Eternal light
Can still be
Seen,
From the farthest planets.

I like the sight of the night sky because it reminds me that there is life outside of mine. I remember when I had the galaxy in my eyes completely burn out and the only way I knew I was still breathing was looking at the moon that billions of people were under struggling with the same feeling. The stars in my eyes have glistened once again and I'm not letting meteors crash through my soul any longer. So look for the planets within my body and Ill take you to places you've never been before.
i. You told me you wanted me,
but after several hours of chasing
you grew tired. All things are impossible,
but you are an exception.

ii. I had my chest stuffed
the other day with a bird, a feather
thing that beats faster than my
heart at the end of the day.

iii. My heart pulses to the hurricanes
on the other side of the planet and
you, when you heard my bones breaking
you told me to hush.

iv. I could care less about
the seasons or perfect planets. All I
see from this spot in the tower is
a meadow of many waters.

v. I misled you into thinking that
this poem would be about love and
instead now it is about birds that
chirp inside the hearts of weaklings.

vi. Pretend if you can that I am a
rhapsodic and warm human, with blushing
girl-flesh. I am not, though. Just
a hard-scaled arthropodic night terror.

vii. Yesterday we were an easy
bike ride to the corner store to buy
candy. Today Mother knows better than
to let me leave the house with you.
