You are beautiful and sought after
What many flowers long to be
But they are so green with envy that they resent you
As you raised me, I saw how they treated you
How they tried to make you wilt with dangerous incompetence
Poisoned your water with false promises
Plucked your petals to dampen your spirit
But you remain divine
You gave me life
Nurtured my growth as you wished to be nurtured
And, for that, I will always love you

From afar and with less knowledge you look like a kind flower
Your purple color stark against the green
But your spines are long and painful
A lasting pain that aches after you have struck
Perhaps a defense for your vulnerable heart
But a defense I have no desire to break
And instead wish you were eaten by a cow

From the first moment I saw you I knew what you were
So determined to make yourself like others with the thought
"Why can’t they love me like Morel?"
Except that thought is heard, seen by anyone who meets you
And where some look at you as a trickster
I look at you with utter love, wishing I could hold you to me
And tell you, you are enough
Even if I get poisoned in the process

I can pick you out of a crowd
Your vibrant violet instantly makes me smile
The sass clear and unapologetic
As confident as your color
Yet still vulnerable against a storm
I will rally behind you
Fight against your foes
And listen to your heart
For you are my favorite mushroom
And dearest friend
If we could
walk together
hand and hand,
On one accord,
like-minded,
with the same
thoughts of Unity
As in oneness,
togetherness,
wholeness every
race, creed
or color Red,

Charcoal Black

Everyone act the same
Its the same ******* allover again
Nobody tries to change
They all alike, yet different

I'm not perfect nor cool
But I don't play like that
I promised myself,
I'll never fall
into the very same rabbit hole

All of them want to be something
How can someone like them be special,
when they are all the same ******* losers?

However, who am I?
Am I better?
I need to make a change
Do the words speak louder or acts?
I need to break the comforting silence, how though?

All of them lie to themselves,
so they don't feel shame
Me included......
Also Poetry isnt my strongest, but is better than actual talking
(I wrote this while in Religious studies, *****)
Also english isnt my first language, so maybe some parts would sound weird, but i dont have much respect for english anyway
Losing fragments of your essence— those fresh nicks from a heavy
blade on your hair; each strand carries the legacy of generations,
a tale waiting to be shared with your heirs. Ears dulled by the
overwhelming tide of emotions, as the ocean of your tears are
divided for the two days you permit yourself to weep. There’s a
Moses in your gaze, appearing on weekends when the burdens
of the week leave you feeling so weak.

Knees trembling under the weight of an unyielding deception—
striving to connect to an acceptable truth; through a faith that has
morphed like a password to someone’s compromised Wi-Fi.
Choked by the very words you struggle to articulate; those
emotions blur the line between reality and forgetfulness.

Tonight, you ventured out to dance with your own spirit—both
hands firmly on yourself; yet the crowd feels a bit too touchy,
with those who aspire to be G.O.A.Ts You turn to them and say,
“Please keep your kids in your pants.”

Your hair was shorter than the breath it takes to articulate your
thoughts, as you begin to feel like a transparent shard of glass: a ghostly
figure they see through. You entered this multitude hoping to remain
single, but to at least mingle with kindred souls who endure every hit
life throws their way, encapsulated in a brief collection of life’s greatest
hits from a solo artist’s single. We all crave that connection with people.

hold the door,
it's past ten on the clock.
hold your words,
cause i've been here before
more than once
and i know all you're going to say.
we'll keep trying again and again
until someone says stop.
i don't want that for us.

close the blinds,
it's past ten on the clock.
close your eyes,
cause i've been here before
more than once
and i know how it goes from here.
we'll keep trying and trying
till all of the warmth
between us disappears,
leaving nothing but cold mistrust.

i don't want that for us,
so i'll take my leave first.
after all, it always ends where it starts.
love, don't you recall?
i've already been here before
more than once.

late conversations,
drinking wine from a cup,
and every word you say
sounds like giving up.
but you're somehow still here,
both dying to leave.
you don't know how you feel,
but it's time to come clean.

it was going so well
back when you were still friends,
but it just wasn't meant
to grow into romance.
and now you're tipsy and sad,
so tired and confused,
and every sentence you say
sounds like trying to lose.

just let it end,
for the sake of who you were
and what it meant,
although it doesn't anymore.
just let it fade away,
don't linger for a kiss goodbye.
you know it's time
to let love die.
