The Paradox of life

Love begins with a smile,
Then grows with a kiss,
Which ends with a tear.

We were born crying,
everyone around us was smiling,
as we  die it becomes the conflicting,
We become the one with a Smile
everyone around us with a mournful Cry.
Unfinished.

Sweetheart, our paradox is this:
surely loving you will be the death of me,
but the life I live without you…
I would rather not exist.

Eating luscious forbidden apples in your garden,
was a pleasure not to be spoken in front of others.
I agreed in a silent conspiracy with you, nevertheless,
it remains an ache, in the tender muscles of my heart,
which I love to nurse with relish, whenever I get a chance

Talking
Always talking
Clock refusing to stop
Haggard chops cop slobber
Saliva’s dripping off

Bored exhalations
Mix
Mental ice
With
Warm air

Mere exposure
Drafting
Numb staring stupor

Sleepy
Waiting to hear
Friday night brew cheers near
Oh! There’s an hour cleared!
Closing on those last four

Funny
Hours I fling so freely
I most adore
Irony
The other word for
Karma
also known as
Poetic Justice

Ask them with answers
stigmatize with anthers
shout loud in silence
**** them with kindness
suffocate them with air
give hope of despair
straighten with a bend
start with the end.
*Give what you take
fix with a break
curse to bless
and fight in
peace
