In these games of luck,
I've lost more than I've ever won
Don't wanna seem like a schmuck,
But this time I'll get it done.
Here's to putting it all on the line now.

This time let's play to win, shall we?

Throw spilt salt over your left shoulder,
Spin spiders thrice around your head,
Keep new shoes off the table,
Hang a dreamcatcher above your bed
Do all of these things little one
She would hold me close and say
And you’ll be a witchy woman
Your luck will never go astray

I was taught this in the Summers
That I spent following her around
When Mum was busy going to work
Dad was nowhere to be found
With the whole world on her shoulders
Nan still carved out time for me
To make me a witchy woman
One content, one loved, one free.
don't worry about fate darling,
even if she got it bad for you
don't worry about things breaking,
even if I'm not there to fix it for you
for even fate follows her foreseen immutable road,
while you push on looking for some inviolate abode.
This is goodbye, my friend. I bid you farewell. I hope you find what you're looking for.

to cross the earth,
you'd need to travel
over 24,901 miles.

there are over
7,800,000,000 humans
in 193 countries
on 7 continents.

the average person meets
less than 80,000 people
during their lifetime.

statistically speaking,
you will meet less than
0.001% of the people
walking this planet.

I've always had trouble
believing in the things
that we cannot prove.

from mythical creatures
to certain phenomena to
bible stories and religion,

faith is something that
I can't seem to find.

but statistically speaking,
we should have never met.

statistically, we should still be
two strangers living our lives
thousands of miles apart.

right now, I am looking
over at you and realizing
just how ******* lucky I am.

there are over
7,800,000,000 humans
in 193 countries
on 7 continents.

yet somehow, we defied
those statistics and
we found each other.

maybe I won't ever
believe in religion
or phenomena or fate,

but I do believe that
sometimes miracles happen

and the most unexpected
feelings can become reality.

I believe that love
and happiness do exist,
and I believe that
all because of you.

this world is not
as bad as it may seem.

hope is not as dim
as it may appear.

sometimes, statistics
don't matter at all

and life gets better
even if you didn't
think that it could.

I believe that now,
and you are my proof.

A quick knock on wood
Pondering if I should
Knock again in case
The first one was in haste
I don't know why I wrote this haha

glimmer,
soft silhouette.
an outline so evocative.
a strange desire to sing the unwise,
to catch a name and raise a fist,
to bare a few words,
and claim this evening,
from an otherwise drunken mood.

habitual courage summoned at the sweat of another drink,
a committee of stoic voices living inside of me.
passed down through a millennia of spanish men
incessantly clamouring for more whiskey.
incessantly advising
to just breathe and let go.

The King with the axe
And the Suicide Jack
Are always worth a wild
Doubled down
Take a hit
And always wear
A smile
Snake eye roll
Crows eye view
Luck is a lady
Me and you
And the devil too

Now deal those cards!

Oh Green grasshopper !

How come green ?
And how the hope ?
Isn’t it a wonder
With tiny wings
That fills with lot of hope
And make our minds bloom
With all the green vibes
That cools our sight
Even refresh our hearts
With utmost happiness
Is a grace of tiny creature
That builds confidence
In each of us
Whenever it enters home
With hope for us

Oh Grasshopper !

You filled us with hope
And the green grass
Made you a grasshopper
That comes with good hope
And fortune for life
That fills our lives
With utmost joy
That we feel grateful
To have a view
Of your green vibes
That soothes our soul
Ever and forever
That enlightens our path
To move forward
With much patience
That brings

With full of zest
That inspires to live
And love our life
