The noises of coffee cups and sips,

The sound of talking and gestures,

the body impressions and emotions of the people are drawing into the room,

The smell of perfumes climbing up the nose,

The smell of fresh coffee fulfilling the room,

They both interacting as a duet,

People inhaling the letters and words of the books they reading,

They are capturing the songs they listen to,

People letting their ideas flow into their laptops,

This place is special and for me the peak of being a human,

The variety is the reason why we are human beings,

Everyone defines in their own way why they are human beings.
As the sun goes down,
I find I'm staring with a frown.

I would be smiling wide,
If not for my lonesome,
All the tears the rain cried.

Though I guess it's just another human thing,
It's the lonely nights that make the moon spin round.
I know it's so

The world makes flights   white flakes of code
snow  like knowledge   alights on the ground
to become a muddy fusion

For law doesn't divide the men from beasts,
For law divides the beasts—but wild from tame.
So born, the law from strife in lands too vast,
A beast of burden, cast from iron frame.

In name of justice, law is served at last,
And gobbled fast by starving men at large.
The peddled chains that kept their hands in cast
Held order buoyed on seas of chaos—like barge.

The best we have: a barge that sails across,
For better stuck than sinking, grasping breath.
The beasts that will not kneel are nailed to cross
And bled till chaos wrung from them—or death.

Forever beasts, to ever-gnawing end,
And ever chained away from clawing rend.

has anyone ever noticed how similar humans are to rotten fruit? we're all just messed up creatures on the inside with beautiful shells, some more pleasing than the others. take a bite and you might get sick. the rotten parts do spread, that is if you don't take care of them. like a broken heart...
Screen testing, screen testing – I start my days wondering how I’m
supposed to play the role to my life. I have a TV screen for my past,
to better watch my back. Most days I’m too caught up on channelling
my fears, for whatever reward I believe – they'll never pay me back;
they're just all looking for payback.

My overthinking sometimes, works overtime – trying to be a good
figure; putting words into action, to be an action figure. How would
you figure, that out of the bunch of men, you could stand out of the
rest?

And wouldn’t it be funny if the woman of my dreams told me, "you
need to rest" – only taking her advice, if she's the better dream out of
the rest.

For not all men can swallow their pride; others survived gallons –
but in short, a man would do it for the right gal. You tell him, "you'll
never get that girl," his pride starts to see a challenge. A greater pride,
chases tale to make it a talent – that man seems challenged!

Every day is a just balance of challenge – wealth we scavenge, our
dreams live as memory stores; we store up what we value the most.
We look at tomorrow for what's in store; born out of love just for most
of us to go and create war.

Speaking highly of yourself, often speaking down on someone else–
speaking life into a child's life, speaking ill on them when you grow
so sick of them. In the end, we are just words.
the curious cat jumps the fence
game to chase after a butterfly –
to fill its stomach
perhaps this is my view on love

while the old dog remains in the yard
chasing after its own tail –
hoping to bite onto success
as this is my view on human regrets.
I'm in the ocean,
I'm in the land.
For I reside in the feeble mind of man,
And all it takes for me to spread,
Is the fingers curling in a man's hand.
Who am I?
A take on the classic riddle form. Happy Tuesday!
