She smiles so softly,
it's like a ghost.
You can't really see it,
but still you feel like it's there.

And her eyes emit emotion,
but like that of steamer.
The more it lets out,
the more unclear everything becomes.

Her walk is always silent,
in a fashion similar to a cat.
Because there's a constant indecisiveness,
between confidence and concealment.

Her heart is unique however,
it holds no resemblance to anything else.
But sometimes it'll be compared to a distant whisper,
because although you're aware of its existence, you don't know what it is that that it holds.
Just a poem about someone who was known but never understood

I am a misunderstood girl
Not a lunatic
On the brink of snapping
Not a walking target
With a bull's-eye taped to her back

My feelings are greatly guarded
By barbed wired fences
Taller than the Eiffel Tower
By stone walls
Stronger than diamonds

I wear a merry mask
As deceiving as The Riddler
With yellow and orange feathers
And a smile of emeralds
In school I was always the shy, quiet girl and was often seen as a target for it. This poem goes out to all my fellow wallflowers.

I've always liked the moon better than the sun.
I've always painted in black, not in colour.
I've always been a little hidden, never fully exposed.
I've always written, never said.
I've always been afraid of the monster under the bed.
A poem every day.

Still lost

I am still lost in the ghost of you;
Waiting on a sun to shine again.
I see you, creeping into my mind’s view;
I cannot keep pushing you away.

All mentions of the long forgotten dreams,
Instantly rearrange whenever your picture is seen.
You always seemed to be so serene,
But clearly that was not the truth.
Inside you held a tormented being
And your demons only ever sang the blues.

You could have written poetry, but your heart was never listening.
You could have stayed and lived in harmony,
But now nobody will ever hear you sing.

When we feel as if our worlds will collide
When we feel as if we are not prepared for this ride
Why hide... when many.. are by your side...
Forgive me when I fail as a friend... I really try
Remeber who you are now since Christ was crucified...
And I'll try to be the person I need to be in this worldly life...
I just want to do what is right...
Although I want to hide...
I want to speak nothing but truth.. never a lie
Even if it brings tears...and makes me cry
Fighting to seek and do what is best for us all...

Faith
Is looking into the darkness
Knowing that it's not sea, but sky
And trusting that there are stars

Trust
Is an outreached hand on high
Knowing that no such embrace will come
But grace, will arise

And choice
Is the soul struggling inbetween
Weather or not to believe
In all which exists beyond our own eyes
Stars can only be hidden

It makes me feel nervous
You have that look in your eye
Oh what takes over
What is it that holds you tight

And you could tear it up
Ooh no one tears it up like you
Ooh you can rip it up
Ooh no one rips it up like you

When you're in a half light
It is not you I see
And you'll live a half life
You only show half to me

Ooooh, ooooh

Sometimes I join you
Let you wash over me
When we're in the darkness
Only the blind can see

And you could tear it up
Ooh no one tears it up like you
Ooh you can rip it up
Ooh I can rip it up like you

When you're in a half light
It is not you I see
And you'll live a half life
You only show half to me

And can you shake it off
Ooh can you shake it off for me
When you're in a half light
I don't like the half I see

What possesses you?
Oooh what possesses you?
Oooh what possesses you?
Oooh what possesses you?

When you're in a half light
Oh it is not you I see
And you'll live a half life
You only show half to me

Can you shake it off?
Ooh can you shake it off for me?
When you're in a half light
I don't like the half I see

Nooo, oooh
