Me: Imagine if it's your worst day ever,
Over and over for all eternity

J: That's not how it works!

Me: Who said so? Are you writing the rules?

She was silent
Probably considering the worst day she had ever had

I’m dancing with the devil
He helped me sew my shattered heart back in half.
Only half could be fix
because I gave the other half to you.

You are my addiction
My forever affliction
I will beg on my knees for you,
No matter what hell you’ve put me through.

An eternity
Of drunk white people
Singing happy birthday

It’s not your party

And you can quote me on that

His spectral stride was not the worst of him.
His stoic face was a flawless slab of stone.
His rending claws slipped idly within his pockets.

As if extensions of his sheathed talons, on either side of the ghoul was a hound of hell.

The beasts could not look more different, save for their crimson eyes which sang of the gallows.

The worst had indeed arrived.
Each patient step glided after the other.
With no word, with no tempo, with no sign.
The dance of grimaced howls and fangs began.

Send me to hell for all I care
As heaven only matters
If you were my angel
Just an enjoyable quick write. I hope it's appreciated!

Barn swallows zigzag swiftly through the air
hunting for flies beneath a clear blue sky.
Cord grass shelters a little brown marsh hare
frozen by the buzzards long hissing cry.

She sleeps on a quilt sprawled out on the ground
while a light breeze caresses her white skin
and bright sun plays in tune to natures sound
fending off nightmares about horrid sin.

I watch all this from the shadow of hell
as my flesh rots in the dark earth below
and fat maggots feed on my oozing smell
churning meat until next winters cold snow.

Heaven, earth and hell are all intertwined,
but mortals are oblivious and blind.

always out of reach
you can never quite grasp it

you have opposite poles
and it's repelling you as soon as you get close

it's a sphere of unknown knowledge
unattainable but not forbidden

you can only know it in death
if you can even then

what you always want to know
but have no way to seek

the secrets most well kept
that die with every confidant

humanity's most asked question
but also most unanswered

your mind can't nearly process it
no one's can

the end of life,
beginning of death

and what life means
why were we put here
and how
who

what?

the earth will keep it a secret
and I will surely go mad
What's the meaning of life?
