the deep blue glistens,
shadowy like my nightmares,
oh it calls to me,
----
Misty eyes shine through,
tepid waters of the blue,
staring, knowing truth

I've been to places unimaginable

I've fought beast on planes unfamiliar

killed demons within

walked on fields of glass

and waded through oceans of fire

only to not love you

but I still do.

Crispy, and yet thin,
its rough curves shatter and snap,
salty, fragile chips.
A haiku to lighten up the mood. Also because for some reason there's a haiku section on craigslist, and I felt like I was issued a challenge.
The sky glistens bright

The green grass slightly swaying

Both display beauty

The water shines clear

Causing thoughts to run wild

Reflecting nature

Piercing winds sound loud

Through the forest it does run

Chilling to the bone

Time passes oh so
slowly. Tick-tock, goes the clock
on the big white wall.
I wrote this during an exam. (the paper was done so I was bored)

"Tell me to stop if
you want me to stop." God, that
was a **** good dream....

Hope of her future,
one there before her, crying.

your eyes are deeper than any poetry i've ever read.
i've tried to write them in six-word poems
but it can never quite capture their depth.
i've tried rhymes
and sonnets
and haikus
but i end up dreaming of them instead.

i'm lying on the roof
looking at the stars in the skies
and wish i were looking
at the ones in your eyes.
