Days trapped in dreams
Winters trapped in drought
Let the fog be the guise that distinguishes the light
I need you now, light as a feather
Now and forever
For the sun is just weather

Just wanting to reside,
a life with no complications,
Not a life with free rides,
or without death and frustrations,

Just a life with reason,
Deserved rewards without rupture,
Just something worth keeping,
I just want guidance and structure...

The lighthouse nearby
Steady, bright
Its light keeps sweeping through
My little life

Beams of instruction
Welcomed every time
Used to live by the sea and the light of the lighthouse on an island close by would sweep through my room in the night.. if I ever woke up in the middle of the night, I’d just lay there in wonder 🀍
Studying the wrinkled lines
of elder poems
on the topic of
the Four Directions;

however;
the poetics of
haunting bards
and mossy sage
always
spiral
back
to the
acorn of the heart

In this infinity;
a piney cabin
resides
inside a bamboo
forest

and Wonder,
She
sits cross-legged
below the
river rock hearth;
warming her palms
against the
irregular downbeat
of snapping flames

β€œNorth, South, West and East;
Trust the Wise Arrows
Aiming True
from Your Heart's
Quiver.”
Pondering the Inner Compass; our Heart space and the infinite wise sage that resides within.

Horn of plenty spills
Bread and wine sustains all man
She holds up the torch

New day, new haiku!
Not feeling 100% today...
Such a sad day overall in truth πŸ˜” RIP to Chadwick Boseman, T'Challa of Wakanda. My heart is so broken, my condolences to his family πŸ’”πŸ™
The coming week Im gonna see a doctor too. I hope that goes well.
Now, for the usual daily haiku!
This one is for Demeter, mother of Persephone, daughter of Kronos and Rhea and Goddess of Agriculture, but also health and marriage as well.

Of course, she is known for being apart of her daughter's myth. She fretted so much when Persephone was taken to the underworld. She was also known to be a grain mother for humans. The horn of plenty aka the cornucopia is one of her symbols as well as the torch hence they are referred in the haiku. The motherly figure who always gives and provides. Its very fitting, isnt it? A light in the darkness. A hope in the fear and dread.

Anyway, thank you all for growing followers, I'm forever humbled and grateful for the support πŸ™πŸŒΉπŸ’œ

Please take care of yoursels and stay safe! RIP to Chadwick again πŸ˜πŸ’”
Much love,

A forked tongue on display
Desperate to divert apart
as head and heart seem separate
Sometimes we have to surrender to loss as opportunity knocks
Times will come when
difficult decisions are deemed useful
As transitions are a learning tool for all
Pain is part of the process of progress
Acknowledge the logical steps that need to be met
Some set criteria may be inferior
But agree to abide by these guidance rules

pin-pricked, the deep drip
spelled cacophony,
mired in chaos.
the human brand
of serially unkind
contradictions.
relatable

and distant.
far too nebulous
to satisfy your craving
after a long day of wanting.
those words silk-spilled
into some odd pile,
creation adjacent to intent,
and skewed from some cliff
hoping for release.
