There is so much power
in the delicate touch
of your hands caressing
my own.

Yet, this power, a force
even stronger than gravity,
and softer than a feather
binds me
to you.

You don’t need anyone to light you up.
Don’t ever let anyone else become
your sun, you are your own sun.
I believe that it is necessary to find
your moon, the person that you
reflect off of, and the person that you
fall into special kind of gravity with,
but no one should ever become your sun.
You are your own sun and you must
be your own source of light and life,
because once someone else
becomes your sun, and once that
sun falls into another’s orbit,
all of the flowers you’ve planted
shrivel up and die in darkness.
You must be your own sun.

Fly
She took a step
And another
Watching birds soar above each other
Wondering why she cannot herself
She couldn’t understand why
She is unable to fly
She did some research and found out why
But gravity couldn’t tame her
She took a leap and there she went
Floating in the air
She was flying!
She was soaring!
Once you decide
Anything is possible
Go and get it
Go and fly.
Soar, sweetheart!

When matter reflects on itself,
consciousness materializes
into something more tangible
and realizes all of existence
is floating above its head.

Matter turned and governed
by gravity’s hands.
Spun and pulled by
creative fingers,
shaped into round colorful bodies and
tossed into blackness
to dance alone.

Some are given partners,
little moons to set their mood,
to spin their silvery light around them
and sing their songs at night
to put their children to sleep.

Some stay awake for the song,
some watch their slow dance,
and some look up at the milky sky and
wonder if matter thinks about them back.
All it took was a night out in the deep woods

Skyscraper,
skyshaper,
skysharper...

Don't mind the fall of ascending
for its gravity does the work for you.

A passageway to this wind tunnel is open now,
yet the recoil is still undone.

Leave the rest to the high-rise end,
and embrace your bound to the above.

How do we get rid of gravity?
it pulls us again towards the unnecessary;
shedding tears, tearing hearts, and the screams—
oh yes the screams!
How do we get rid of the force that would simply bring us down?
Once again, we are falling

towards this constant uncertainty;
Slowly.
Fearfully.
Infinitely.

Oh dear, here we go again.

Does gravity keep you grounded?
Or does he place your head in the clouds only to pull you back.

Maybe if he wasn't there, you'd float like a butterfly.
Gravity hurts me when he keeps his force on you.

Like a law I can't break.
His ***** claws scratching and latching at your shoes.

I will never be as strong as gravity, or as good looking.
But maybe with the help of the moon, I can shift him. Loosen his grip.

And maybe one day soon, we'll both fly together.

I kept on pushing you,
Yet my heart draws you near.
Would it be a sin if I love you now?
Would you still be free if I fall?
