perhaps we were meant to meet at a different time, on a different planet, in a different universe.

maybe we were meant to glide past each others warmth and flourish in the rays we put off.

it's a silly feeling. being bottled up tight and released with zero gravity to guide its course.

fuzzy and twinkling, like two stars in a strong orbit around a common barycenter.

it's like we're dancing around the same feelings, the same glow, but never realizing we're spinning to the same force which holds it all together.

set ablaze, spinning spirits letting off sparks of stardust we silently wait for our moment to shine.

whether that be together or apart...

he may have broken her
but her eyes will still glow golden in soft sunlight
even if her cheeks are stained with tears

wish we could talk like we used to

Glittery and gold,
big and bold,
hallow and round,
Shake it and no sound.
Shining and hanging
for all to see.
Glowing and twirling
its glitters so free.

You need me like a flower needs snow.
Love you cold.
Suffocate your eternal glow.
Strip down naked.
Leaving a heart that’s vacant.

You can only grow
When I melt away.
I control
when your colors display.

oh sunshine
  how do i tell you?
  i am flying so high
  above these clouds
  weightlessly mine

            **oh sunshine

                 how do i show you
the butterflies that live in me
                 my veins full of ecstasy
the warmth of that summer breeze

oh sunshine
  the monsoon comes closer
and that rain is here to purify
  everything will find its place
there is so much to see
  so little to say

             oh sunshine
                  how do i show you
there is so much more warmth than cold
these golden rays never get old
the grass blades sway with hope
there is so much more to live for

oh sunshine
the morning is yet to come
the dawn is where you're from
hold my hand and let me show you
  together we'll run
  straight into the sun
good music, good vibes
look up
it will only be a bit

look up
you know it is worth it

look up
you've been places much like this

look up
dig out of the pit

look up
you see the stars from here

look up
the future's bright and near

look up
gone with all the tears

look up
there's nothing left to fear

look up
until your neck is raw

look up
you traveled and you saw

look up
just wait for the applause

look up
but don't forget to pause

look up
you know which way to go

look up
and trust the ones you know

look up
darkness 'round the low

look up
you'll be the one who glows

Beauty is found in things above
and things below

Beauty is found in a rainbow
A twinkle, twinkle show
And a firefly's glow

And beauty is found in your smile
just so

They say beauty is always found
in the eye of the beholder
Is it true, I don't know

Beauty is found in special places
and upon kindest faces

With men of honor and their shield
And beauty is found
upon wildflowers in a field
Of this I know

Some like to live by following lists
To decide what's good enough,
Trusting the rules, the "shoulds" and ideals,
Not heart, intuition or gut.

Rulebooks and list have a time and place,
A purpose, a reason, a use,
But if unhappy we aren't let down
We just list another excuse.

"He's so nice, I must be wrong,
This job should be my dream."
Following lists can lead to smiles
But they won't make you beam.

To find your own fulfillment,
Don't follow a recipe,
Or assume it is one size fits all,
Don't take your happiness lightly.

So yes, you can follow a guide
Of where you think you should go,
You can settle for things that make you content
Or wait for what makes you glow.
