desperately refracting light in the darkness

maybe we were just bunch of atoms
aligned in a specific pattern
ready to be dispersed
to be a new cluster of atoms

maybe we weren’t a compound
we weren’t like the other elements
that were made for each other,
to create an inseparable bond

You a galaxy,
beautiful,
captivating,
rare in sight.
But yet, too dangerous to explore.

Tonight, in this moonlight.
I watch from afar,
as you fall in love with every star-
each a burning enthralling sight-
me a body full of water,
bone and mass;
your eye never shining me light.

Bells sing at death's dance
Cloak of galaxies vapors
A scythe of petals
