When we look into each other's eyes
You say  the constellations are in mine
If so, I gaze upon the galaxies in thine.
i Dec 2014
you are the universe
and i'm not even a star,
your eyes like galaxies,
i'm completely lost.
Olivia Sica Dec 2014
My father made a galaxy in his coffee every morning
Somehow the universe, made from cream and the little touch of the magic
That we think all adults posses when we’re five or six
Not sure if I'll eventually add more to this one, but we'll see...

Because his eyes shone like starlight and his lips felt like the moon.
His hips crashed like comets; like meteorites falling from the sky. Constellations disguised as freckles across his shoulder blades and the cosmos coated his fingertips.
Our breaths were shallow as we fought to regain air while our tangled legs formed the Milky Way.
His words carried me to Mercury, Neptune, and every **** planet in between while his smile pulled me towards galaxies light years away, whisking us off into the blissful unknown.
Not that great yet, needs some work

i'm sad with you,
i'm sad without you,
and i get so confused
when you look at me
with those eyes, where
all i can see are
endless galaxies,
shining stars,
midnight skies
and myself.
i Nov 2014
i think i miss you on
saturday nights the most,
because that's when the realization
really kicks in, the realization
that i love you more than myself
and anything beautiful in
this ****** up world,
when you're the only star
worth dying for.
god, i forgot how much i loved you until i was with you again. until i felt your fingers drawing me closer to you, your breath on my lips, hot on my pale ghost skin, your voice whispering words in the language you made just for us to understand. there are galaxies hidden in the space behind your ribs, i can feel them with each inhale you exhale, taste them in the back of your throat. your thumb traces circles across my hand, like rings around saturn, and you know i revolve around you like that too. you are planet earth and i am the moon, you are beautiful and i will only ever shine for you.

a star that falls in love is in the most dire situation,

because they must sacrifice their existence to meet with another,

for when two stars come in the closest proximity as possible,

their ultimate fate is to collide and to explode into the darkness of the galaxies.

they say we are all made up of stardust;
an evolved specie from the distant galaxies.

but I think you're a genetic mutation,
an incomplete evolution

for I could still see the stars
reflected on your skin
dancing through your fingertips
and swimming in your eyes.
