I vividly remember the day we brought you home
And the ecstasy I felt

We would always play
I'd pet you endlessly
I grew up with you by my side

Things changed and I have regrets
Time passed by, we grew older
Time flew by us
And the next thing I knew,
You have already bid farewell

I can never forget
You are embedded in my soul
You've been the best
You can now rest

the present world
can pull you back in time -
sometimes a gentle pull,
sometimes a hard yank
to remind you of the past.

you take a trip
to meet your past self.
you watch her love,
grow, make mistakes -
she and you are one.

then you take a deep breath,
whispering a farewell
to your past self.
you walk through time,
returning to the present.

O love my love, the summer's been so bright
the gaily colours faint in fading light
my whitish skin is turning snowy white
the world is now rotating to the night

And though there's just a short time left to give
delights of love to one another, you
will keep my spirit and my soul in who
you've grown to be as long as you will live

I hear you boil the water, making tea –
our love is still the same as years ago
with all your heart you put a heart in me
and give the autumn light its golden glow

The future keeps receding, no tomorrow
but I am feeling safe to close my eyes
when in your arms asleep my body lies
when in your arms asleep my body lies

sa likod ng mga ngiti
nakakubli ang lungkot
butil ng mga ala-ala
mga limot na kabanata
kaybilis
kaybagal
paglisan nitong mahal.
The day that I met you
I felt something new
A feeling that exist
Something I can never resist

I love the way you smile
Your smile was worthwhile
It made my heart skip a beat
For me that was really sweet

You're person I really admire
you always set my heart on fire
But after a year
My love you bought me tears

I was the first
But now your hers
My love, why?
Was everything a lie?

The person i once adore
Now Left me broke and sore
You were only my inspiration
Don't worry
My love, I know my limitations

I deserve someone better
Maybe not now but sooner or later
I hope that someday
Somebody will stay

I'll never regret loving you
But my love, I needed you to love me too
Your heart isn't something that i own
I can't love you alone

I never wanted someone new
My love, it will always be you
But Your not the one for me
My love, I should set you free

Now I know Why
My love, it's time to say goodbye

months of articulate crafting
every curve
edge
splinter

shaved
she's beautiful.

just one more spot
one more nudge
make it perfect
what a beauty

make her part of my collection
front and center

but

one more curve
turns to another
correction
correction
correction

corrections turn to a revision
revision turns to a loss of the old
so perfect
but now so gone
goodbye old
hello new

too close to the sun
melting into the abyss

broken
handicapped
disposable

goodbye
gone forever

There is a level of pain
that comes with shame
that I never knew before

I wish there was a way
to let all the good potential
love without fear

We are lost
if we are not brave

All is gone, all my kingdoms, all my sons,
All of valor, all of disenchanted love, but for eyes
That see the world of nothing, slow in its demise.

The bittersweet blast
of ending another
another one.

Weird, unnatural, irrational.

Mixing maudlin with
the electric buzz of new beginnings,
we will drink and sleep,
cheap grins on our faces
‘til we’re adrift in three week’s time.

These days and friends are mine.
Raising a glass to all the teachers who have reached the end of the Weirdest Year Ever (TM). We have lost our traditional chance to welcome the new and say farewell to friends.

Despite what some gutter press and bumbling government ministers say, we never stopped teaching or caring. Never will.

I think again of a dear dying friend,
Whose life has been lived and is now going to end,
I wonder what dreams that she still had to meet
And of all the promises she cannot keep,
And locked away somewhere, inside of her deep,
Are there still some secrets that she alone keeps,
I wonder of promises she cannot keep,
And burdens that she insist she alone keeps.

A promise of peace and of present pain felt
To dissolve in the dirt of the Earth is fulfilled.
The living are dying, but they shan’t forget
Of friends whom have left them before their own end,
Of friends whom they cherished and loved till the end
With only condolences left to extend,
I think of once more of a dear dying friend.
