I think I saw you in my dream
or maybe it was
that place between awake and sleep
That place you wish you could never leave
but the truth hurts like cigarette burns
And honey you taste just as bitter
Yet  I breathe you in every time you cross my mind
Just to slowly breathe you out again
Watch you spiral as you fill the air
Dissipate and disappear
I'm back, I'm home,
I'm no longer gone!
Too far on the hard road I've traveled.
Returned, renewed,
I've found strength to go on!
All of my stress has unraveled.

I seem to disappear
Do you know where I go?
Now, it all seems so clear
You're so fast; I'm so slow.
Take what you need and leave.
Please, please. I beg of you,
My heart hangs on my sleeve
Held together by glue.
You took the best of me,
Then lost the soul inside.
I seem to disappear
Mainly from people like you.

Send your dreams
Where nobody hides
Give your tears
To tide

No time
No time

There's no end
There's no goodbye
Disappear
With the night

No time
No time
No time

No time
No time
No time

I only see you clearly when you’re near

I only know you when you’re here

I forget you when you physically disappear

wrap your arms around me
and hide me from the people
who tell me wrong
bleh i just need to hide in your arms for awhile.

Upon your return,
I will be gone with the breeze,
never again seen.

Here’s a story for you, dear
About a girl who had no ears
Could not hear of the world’s fears
Here’s a story for you, dear
About a boy’s vision so unclear
He could not see his mother’s tears
Here’s a story for you, dear
About a dad who loved his beer
Too drunk to know the end was near
Here's a story for you, dear
About a man who worked cashier
With wish to be an engeneer
Here’s a story for you, dear
About a helpful volunteer
Who most times was insincere
Here’s a story for you, dear
About a woman’s failed pap smear
Preparing for a condition so severe
Here’s a story for you, dear
Although we try to persevere
*We all want to disappear
