Mummified me tight in her web,
she finds it funny
that my eyes are left open.

I shake
but I cannot listen
and I cannot scream
and she stares until
my heart is broken.

she whispers and I read her lips:
"I am fate,
and you were held firm in my clutches
ever since man has fallen.

"Lay, watch, and twitch
and remember my dear,
every breath you take is testimony
that you were chosen."

You taught me
   that love is pure
when the present
    Doesn't hate you from your past
         instead waters you
to grow better in the future.

    To my beloved wife,
the strings of our fate
   have become one
We will journey this life together
       facing other demons
while taming ours.
         I'll love you better
for you molded me to be the best
             and for that...
     I offer you my remaining days

I wait in tantalizing agony,
skin prickling with lustful heat.
Silent is the night,
absent even of humming wind,
and croaking crickets.
She whispers,
saying the things I've always dreamed.
"Let us lay here
till the end of time
in each other's arms
dining on love
steadfast in wonder
only parting
when Earth is no more
and yet we remain
souls entwined."
The heavens open.
Worlds, once locked away, bear their cosmic fruit.
I transcend the confines of my mortal form,
tasting love like breath to the drowned.
Sunlight cracks the shell of night, peeking over the horizon,
my eyes part as I wake from sleep.
If but a dream of love could stir my soul in slumber,
what can love true do to a man's endless hunger?

and then again I hear them say
somebody will like you,
he’s on his way

but to wait for the right guy
is a lonely journey, can’t deny

and as the days go by
I look up in the sky

I tell myself to be patient
there’s no need to be racing

I’m longing for someone
a nice guy, can’t describe
somebody who will catch my vibe

I hope he’s coming
cause I need some real good loving

meanwhile I will do another rhyme
and just have trust in time
