Your stroke paints the blood in my cheek
And your soul is what makes it real
Illuminated by the pangs of idealism
We share this burden's parallelism
But our youthful expenses
Are priceless and uncharted
By the most daring
So let me show you
The way to the bay
To open entries
Of foreign milieus today
Look into my eyes
Under your hair
You're already there

I was unaware I had missed you
until I felt my heart pang with longing
as I gazed at your sheltered valley
again for the first time

You nourished my growth
with sunlight and bare feet in endless grass
while keeping me from the cruelties of
concrete grids and glass prisons

One day I got lost in your redwood oasis
and tangled myself in your hair
because I couldn’t imagine living
anywhere else than with you

I was too young to know the world
outside of your gentle exhale
and foolishly took you for granted
as you became a burden with age

I ached to feel excitement beyond
the cautious daylight you offered me
and prepared myself to leave you
without a second hesitation

You howled as I turned away
from everything you had given me
but my sights were on the future
as I moved beyond what you could provide

I never looked back.
We both knew I couldn’t
or the pain would consume us
and we would ******* ourselves
over the heartbreak of leaving the other

One day I would return and bathe
in the refreshing starlight of your hidden sky
to heal the scars that the land of tar and steel
had left upon my sun-kissed skin

I never stopped loving you
I only keep my distance
to save myself from the pain
of leaving you again.

There is a place between life and death
A place where you can bathe in nebulas and saturate your skin in the dust of the stars.
Where colors consume you.
And angels play medicinal harps.
Rainbow flares and flashs kiss your  eyes.
Sound is felt within every part of your consciousness.
So open your eyes as wide as you can so you can see the universe as it was ment to be.
I watch cooking for joy
I love it
When vapours rise
The scintillating smell
Fills and arouses my nostrils
And my mundane mind
I like being blown away by this juggernaut of joy, aroma
Sensual satisfaction
I enjoy
The spurt of cumin
In rich oil
I love the
Dance of
Mustard crackling
How asafoetida
Sets the stage on fire
How curry leaves sound
Being sauteed
Only to come out
In an enchanting form
The fairies take centrestage
In this cooking dream
In vegetables
As they simmer
And get coated
With raisers of
Your taste buds
And assume
Magnified beauty
The *** turns into
A flurry of colours
You seem to get lost
As you gaze in wonder
Then the splash
Of tangy lemon
Juiced to Glory
Comes only
To leave you amazed
Fresh coriander
Basking in glory
Of it's green leaves
Makes it's debut
To leave you amazed
Your senses overflow
And in case you're
Not done
With this
Mesmerizing magnificence
The Majesty of food
Has more to offer
Your mouth starts watering
And you slurp it down
Enjoying every moment
Attaining some containment
In the form of good food!!
Sorry for forgetting
Something necessary
Salt it is called
To be put for sure
But without haste
To suit ones taste

Flat stones skipping rippling water
reminiscing old memories
now that I am older

I remember climbing narra trees
with friends full of jollity
reminiscing old memories

I remember me feeling carefree
swimming through turquoise river currents
with friends full of jollity

I remember every moment
like the laughter-filled walk home after
swimming through turquoise river currents

Oh! the life I used to live is
still as good as i remember
like the laughter-filled walk home after.

As I now stand on the same river
flat stones skipping rippling water
still as good as I remember
now that I am older.
We visited our hometown, and re-experienced the things we used to do and it was so memorable that I just needed to make a poem out of it.

Life kinda ***** sometimes,
This much is very true.
So just live for the fun times,
And smoke a joint or two.
Sometimes you won't have money,
Sometimes you won't have jobs,
But when you're high it's just so funny
Just stay away from cops
And keep your eyes on making money.
You'll make it through this
One way or another, I swear
And when you find your place of bliss
Look me up and I'll be there.

a bottle of wine
due after a long day
as I pour myself a glass,
set aside on the table
a box of matches
and a vanilla scented candle
anticipating the aroma filling up the room
a silky robe,
pressing up against my soft skin
after a warm hot bath
this is bliss
I wish it would never end

Oh honey child!
Whither are you going?
Your wedding cakes are on the hearth
Thither they are glowing.

People are coming
To bless you
For your bliss ahead
Oh honey child!
Whither are you going?

Your wedding gown
Decked up with
The chicest of jewels
Waits in silence
To witness
As your accompaniment
The storm of joy
Of merriment
And good hope
Oh honey child!
Whither are you going?

The honey bride says
I know not what calls me
To the nature's lap
The woods
So dense and deep
Periwinkles and wild roses
Daisies and vivid poses
Of the sceneries
Of Mother nature
Oh mother
I know not
My feet are chasing
Someone unknown

Oh honey child
Marriage is bliss
Why do you face away
And give
Your life's fortunes
A 'sad' miss?
The master groom comes
Lay your hands on his
Exchange the garlands
Of love and life's vows
Find your way
Merrily with his
Oh honey child
Handsomely would he come
And take you
For he is your loving bridegroom
Honey child'honey child!
Whither are you going?

The spirits of joy
The scent of
Blissful solitude
And beautiful happiness
The song
Of the koil scented
Riverbank
And the unknown
Merry wilderness
Calls me
O mother
Not will I stay
I will go.....
Inspired by someone....

As I look at the horizon
I saw a place not far away
A place where we could be
So Happy and Free

Come with me as I venture to
The place I've been saying so
A place where we could be...

Perfect,

Just You and Me.
