Now that you are gone
they surely
will find you
as good as you
know you deserve
on Earth.

Why do you mock me
here in my own space?
This is my home
to desecrate.
Had I known you were
here as well I might
take my chances
to venerate.

I want to be alone,
lonely and lost.
I want to be
the god that I ought.
Whatever it takes,
however I find
I may as well
buckle up,
because I'm ******
either way.

Now that you are gone
they surely
will find you
as good as you
know you deserve
on Earth.

A pike of grain is lovely when                                                                                 It's together with sisters and with brothers anytime .....                                        It looks arrogant when it's alone ,but                                                                      It's reaped by a farmer ,then                                                                                   It's humble ......                                                                                                         Life teaches us many lessons and                                                                            There are many examples around us ..........
Humility beats arrogance .

That is a lot of gold,
Missy.
Everything is metal,
it attracts me like the
reflection.
That is a unique thing,
Darling.
It brings me to
introspection;
is life vast? is there more,
for instance, than
that shiny--?
The word jumps from my lips
but you,
Sweetheart,
are bought for a high price.
The bidder is my heart.
Please try not to  object
to my being so objective.

our home—
a speck of dust submerged in ink.
black so dark the
perfect embodiment of shade,
yet,
twinkling,
glistening—shimmering as
infinite diamonds crushed to dust then
blown across creation.

night sky alight with fire.
figures of fantasy and of legend,
mythical beasts
do battle as
brilliant hued flame.

space scape wonders, the tool marks of
man's most humble beginnings.
spied afar from a fantasy of grandeur,
titans of absolute certainty towering
over mystery as if
it were something humanity had conquered.
so tall mankind, our height
a spire of arrogance.

the truth we refuse,
blinded by ambition; that
we—mankind
the champions of delusion; that
we—mankind are little more than
a colony of ants believing
to possess answers pertaining
life's mystery.
Aria of Midnight Dec 2014
A judgemental, prideful and arrogant writer confines within his mind.
I never quite realised how important humility is in a writer; in order to express yourself, you need to stop judgement --of yourself through other eyes-- from clouding your expression.

A pen. A pen and a paper.
It all starts with pen and paper.
Music and art and literature and films
They're all brought to life (and limited)
by pen and paper

With pen and paper, you create
You become a god
You create and destroy at your whim
But like a god, you are to be destroyed
by your same creations

The only way to stay safe
away, and free
from the awaiting destruction you created,
is to stay far from pen and paper

Alas, pen and paper call to you
What comes off it, is something that
takes time to tame.

It is not a question of seeking answers
but a question of control.
Controlling pen and paper.
You control pen and paper,
you control life.

Go now to the second stair;
I've hidden many wonders there.
No gold or jewels or gems or cash.
But, rest assured, there is your share.

You'll perhaps think me brash,
When you happen 'pon my stash.
But, rest assured, there is your share,
So at the stair, go be abashed.

You'll find tufts of matted hair,
Clotted flesh, both dark and fair.
Now all these deaths are mine to claim.
But, rest assured, there is your share.

I cannot say it was my aim,
To turn the stair into a frame.
But, rest assured, there is your share,
So I'll not be taking all the fame.

So go now to the second stair,
First comes joy, then despair.
Past that: regret, then who knows?
But, rest assured, there is your share.

And just like the old saying goes,
I will admit, my blood-lust grows.
But, rest assured, there is your share,
So go to the stair and claim your throes.

Now go on to the second stair,
Fret no more; you've no right to care.
'Twas your goading put them there.
So, rest assured, you'll find your share.

Blunt ****
Your grin brings the whole world down
So shallow you turn your guts inside out
Come bury your teeth in the gutter

To every privileged ****
who believes racism, sexism and classism don't exist,
when they've never experienced any of it themselves.

I dig deep
For some hidden hope
To find the strength I've always had
When I was up against the ropes

Because that’s exactly where I’ll be
As I'm running away
To the only dream
That’s kept me mentally sane

I'm finding an escape
From the people around me
And the day to day life
That creates my boundary

I’ll find a place
Where I can hear my own voice
And it won’t be distorted
By the societal noise

I’ll climb each step
Ignoring the blood on my hands
And distance myself
From that which fears what it can’t understand

And now that I'm here
I’ll find what sets me apart
From a white picket fence
And a little green yard

The American dream
Might be a safe aspiration
But what does it become
When it drowns the dreams of its nation?

So I’ll escape into the truth
And leave my chains behind
So they can see what it means
To be truly alive

I’ll sit on a hilltop
And watch the lives they all lead
Working jobs they hate
to buy **** they don’t need

being ordinary
is the addiction they feed
as they smile coldly
and say **** they don’t mean

one morning they’ll wake up
and see the hole in their chest
and realize they made up
all this nonsense

but they’re not bad people
they just never learn
cause on their way to the top
they’d watch the world burn

and instead of trying to extinguish
these self-mutilating fires
they’ll turn their heads
to their frivolous desires

but I’m still searching
for the bigger picture
because maybe if I find it
I can hang it on my refrigerator

So I wont forget
Because I need to remember
As my story settles down
Into the pages of forever

But all I feel
Is my judgment slip away
As black and white
Fade into shades of gray

And all I feel
Is the hypocrisy settle in
As I see myself
Committing the same sins

So I’ll resign to the life
Of a numbing vaccine
And continue trying
to put out my fire with gasoline

I’d positioned myself
Away from it all
But now prepared
For the inevitable fall

My knees start to tremble
My skin feels colder
as the weight of the world
bears down on my shoulders

my front foot slips
and the back one slides
and I fall into the hole
I dug with my pride

and all I see
is the faces I left behind
and suddenly that hope I’m looking for
........
is much harder to find…
