Imagine
The starving cries
Of those who will surely die
Hollow stomachs left unsatisfied

Imagine
The soldier who fights on
Remains strong
Until he passes his final breath
Safe within the embrace of death

Imagine
The kids on the street
Heads hung low in defeat
As they struggle to eat and sleep

Imagine
The slaves that work
Who just want to go bezerk
But haven't the energy after slaving in the desert

Imagine
A happier world, a better place
Where it isn't shameful to be of the human race
Where our own species isn't cast away in disgrace

Imagine
A place where freedom isn't longed for,
But had.
Imagine orphans no longer being orphans
Safe with their mum and their dad

Imagine
A world where our mistakes are erased
A world where we have a clean slate
A fresh start, served on a silver plate
Where greed and obsession never decided your fate.

Imagine a world where everyone belonged
Imagine a world where no-one had been wronged
Imagine all of this, picture this and store this memory in a safe box, where you can peek every now and then. Imagine, if you cannot change, the world without it's man-made flaws
In this world
Weeds are worshiped as beautiful
Roses are cast to compost as a vulgarity

In this world
Worms matter the most
consuming roses
one of their favorite past times
one of their favorite foods

The greater the ****’s ability
to choke the rose
the greater the ****’s glory

In this world
Roses are hated
especially their thorns.

I’ve always needed the city more than it needed me
Wandering its prominent streets
Being nothing more than an anonymous ant,
Crawling past the lines of mechanized zombies
With equally anonymous ants driving them

More than once have I bathed in its street lights
Hoping that it would find my personality shining through
Or hunted down my reflection in its windows
Expecting that visibility would lead to the end of my anonymity
I’ve always needed the city more than it needed me

But now my point of view has finally shifted
As I wandered the streets of the city I hold so dear
Finding that my need to be needed has changed

Finally I have discovered that the invisible man is happy
He is never told to go away
He keeps on wandering, amongst his fellow ants
Under the city’s street lights, reflected by its windows
Not feeling the need to be needed
Not feeling the need
Not feeling
Nihilisms brutal, how could you choose to live that way?
Coz everything is futile, life is glorified decay.
We're all dying, and I can't wait....

Each day simulates birth and death and everything between.
Next day is the same **** thing, how many hints did you need?
Cradle to the grave to the cradle to the grave,
Makes plenty of sense to me.

Tupelo
When it's all over,
As the faces fade,
When the hum of
fluorescents cease,
And the engines
sputter to a halt,
All that remains
are the oceans
Inside of us,
And the words
made in their wake
the only thing I've given my whole to, are the words of the pages and their timid lines.
It started with a jacket
left unattended.
I grabbed it as a friend
no intentions.
Wore it the next the day,
it engulfed my shorter frame.
We laughed, a platonic encounter
then I forgot to give it back.

It started conversations,
we discovered who we were
beneath our social façades.
That's when I fell
for you
and somewhere, you fell
for me.

A borrowed moment
A lasting affection.
this is a rewrite of an earlier poem "borrowed shoes"

Amber
in the air
I never really knew how deeply she could tremble
was she flying ore falling?
Either way time made us strangers.
Her words are still carved into my flesh
even though she doesnt haunt me like she use to
I still  have a chain
But  this  time it´s sinking
into Sofias  sky
I  could never  really tell
if  she was  simply alone ore just sick
Maybe  an illness whom I bonded with
in ways a  real human could never
comfort , nor touch me
She was a teenage girls
best friend.
I am frozen, my life is hidden away, I can't see you, or anyone, I'm rejected, heavens full up and I'm frozen, why does god deny me? my life is fading away....

I'm frozen, under a river of ice, and I lay there under the moon at night, the great deceiver, oh how I pray for the sun to melt this ice away

Cuz I'm ready I just need a chance, I can make it, just like everyone,
god can't deny me, not now I've come too far,
the great deceiver, doesn't just deceive anyone, oh when will the sun be melting this ice-age away?
