Our lives are just like books
Filled with numerous chapters
We may not like what’s inside
But turning the page and
Continuing the story
Is the only way to move on

Dark n Beautiful
Learn to appreciate the rainbow after cursing the rain. It’s just like loving again after experiencing the pain. Quote:

like autumn pools
We smile over a *** of jasmine tea.

Time flies faster than the sand thou beholds
In today's world it means more than gold

There are times we turn back and smile
"Hey i dint realise
Time so swiftly flew by!"

And sometimes time crawls slower than the sloth,
When sitting through a boring lecture
Or listening to someone endlessly talk.

And when we get deadlines time feels like money,
We start using it like a miser bunny.

Time doesn't stay stagnant
And never does it stop
Though lovers might deny
Immersed in beloved's eyes
They forget to see the clock!

Men see time according to there needs,
And wish it moved at a pace they pleased.

Time is a healer,
Time is a killer,
Time if treasured can lead to success
But if wasted life can be an ungrateful disgrace.
Only the ones who use time aptly are able to make the most out of their lives.

when i was small and delicate
my parents were so worried
they grew up quite the pessimissts
and panicked in a hurry
so when I swallowed a firefly
their grabby hands and tight faces
thought called out 'will she die?'
they opened up my mouth and poked around in the dark places
they had such an uptight lifestyle
however, i was the opposite
the firefly i swallowed was shining through my smile.
i havent stopped smiling since

.
In the long nothings of blackest night
Owl whispers.  Hair of mouse stands,
As only an under sieged without spear
Can and grave vole, simply wide open
On his mat of dead leaves, drying time
And even the hare, without hope, hops
Maddeningly caught in dark labyrinths
Without sight, dear is the silent scream
Of all that was mere, so slim after light,
Night scurry, dash, curled fingers, prey.

It's been asked before
But nevermore
Why does the caged bird sing?

He's been locked away
No sight of day
Why does the caged bird sing?

His vision's blocked
Out of sight, he's locked
Why does the caged bird sing?

No soul to hear
His voice so clear
Why does the caged bird sing?

But oh how his song
Is out of tune, it's wrong
Why does the caged bird sing?

Maybe what he sings
Isn't what it seems
Maybe it's only screams.
"We think the caged birds sing, when indeed they cry."

You open
the
fortune cookie
and
there is
nothing
inside
At a lowest lowest time this actually happened, proving once again there is no fiction greater than truth

(haiku x 4)

Sun hides...dips lower
Moon and stars deck the dark sky
Dusk is upon us

Lights.....softly glowing
Drawn curtains are a pale screen
Casting drooping forms...

Voices fill the air
Night, patiently hears the moans
Shame fades at dusk...for,

Dark unites shadows
Cicadas join the whimpers
Wind...comforts the soul...

Kiss me
Neath the summer lit sky
of crimson pink
and glory gold

Say my name
with that sweet tremble
of caution
and delight

Chase me
Catch me
Caress me
Cherish me

And you will know
what it is like to have
all the Seasons
embrace you all at once~
